well, maybe we do sign Choo...
This was said about the Rangers prior to 2010.
Let's face it..there are only about 12 teams each given year that will actually compete for a title in baseball. The Royals have proven that they just are not one of those 12 teams.
Yeah, so give us Gordon and Hosmer.

Gordon won't come here thanks to 1310 the ticket
They don't have much incentive to trade a pretty cheap Butler, I'd love to have him...but I doubt they can afford to lose his offense.
While that's accurate, Texas rebuilt their entire organization. The Royals continue to be the same franchise year in and year out though.

All I'm saying is anyone can have a bad 30 years
I was being sarcastic, but what happened with the ticket?
I'm always about playing for the future with a little bit of right now
Choo is a little bit of right now, Choice might be the future
Kemp is just a foolish gamble that makes no sense in the short term or long
Kemp is gamble but if the Dodgers throw in 30 million like the Tigers did with fielder we would get Kemp for 6 years at 96 million that is 16 million a season and it looks like choo is wanting 6 years at 120 plus.IF Both healthy no match Kemp is lots better.I would take either one Choo or Kemp.I might even take Either he is a left handed bat and we need left hand bats.
Good night all. Tomorrow noon comes early.
The point is that the "have nots" are irrelevant in sports. Hard for there to be parity when half the league won't matter on any given year. Why have 30 teams when clearly all 30 markets aren't strong enough to support a major league franchise. It has already diluted the talent pool.
I long for a truly capitalistic sports league where teams are allowed to fail and die and not be encouraged to field a shitty product.

I still think we need a sarcasm color
