He's been hurt the last 2 years, but has also been at MVP level. I'm not a huge fan of a Kemp trade, bu I like it better than starting Choice. I just think this might be where JD is headed. I would rather not go into next season with Choice as the LF. Especially with Mitch at DH. That line-up is full of a lot of unproven kids.

Thats too much of forcing the right now, making a move just to make a move, no thanks

Kemp is a huge mistake, and the reason the Dodgers are willing to pay much of his contract proves this

Think about it, the Dodgers are playing for RIGHT NOW more than any team in the league and they willing to get out of his contract

That's because they're about to have to pay Kershaw 250-300 million and they have another CF named Joc Pederson coming up quickly.

I don't know, I like the player and the person. What he did for the boy in San Francisco last year was noble as hell. It is just way to big of a risk to give up players for the unknown of whether he stays on the field after all the surgeries over the past couple years

That was a really classy move by Kemp

Why the hell do I care if his agent thinks he can bounce back? Of course he's going to say crap like that

I said team, as in Boston. I didn't say anything about his agent. I was talking about the fact that Boston is interested in trading for him.

Whoa dude...talk about selective reading. That's not what the article was about at all.

They'll want to keep him now that they lost out on Beltran

Let's face it..there are only about 12 teams each given year that will actually compete for a title in baseball. The Royals have proven that they just are not one of those 12 teams.

This was said about the Rangers prior to 2010.

Whoa dude...talk about selective reading. That's not what the article was about at all.

All it did was mention that he COULD be a option for CF, but nothing about Boston actually being interested in him

closest it comes

"Boston's incumbent center fielder, Jacoby Ellsbury, just came to terms with the New York Yankees on a seven-year, $153 million deal. The Sox say they would be comfortable with rookie Jackie Bradley Jr. taking over in center, and that may indeed be the case. The Sox could just wind up adding a journeyman outfielder, as insurance for Bradley in case he falters and as another backup for Shane Victorino, who was limited in 2013 by hamstring and back issues to 122 games, the fewest he's played since becoming an everyday player in 2006. Or they could aim higher.

Multiple sources have indicated that the Sox have at the minimum made inquiries of the Dodgers regarding Kemp. Stewart said he has taken the speculation regarding the Red Sox seriously enough to talk to Kemp about Boston, and what it would be like to play there. "

Nothing about actually being heavily interested in Kemp, just inquiries, a lot of teams do that

They don't have much incentive to trade a pretty cheap Butler, I'd love to have him...but I doubt they can afford to lose his offense.
