Looks like we're close to getting skunked again..... Yankees filled holes, tigers added pieces, Seattle made a splash. We're wasting the last few years we have of Beltre and Darvish. If JD doesn't at least retain Cruz, I'll be very disappointed. I'm sorry , I don't consider Fielder and Choice a good offseason. I doubt the team even got better. I hope JD has some trade possibilities at the winter meetings up his sleeve.

Strange year and I believe all teams have been working really hard to make deals and some have gotten things done because there just wasn't a bunch available. Can something still happen "yes" but I don't know how many major deals are left out there

No way you can justify playing Napoli at DH when Fielder is playing 1B, it wasn't going to be an issue of who gets to play the field, especially if you are really trying to get Napoli here

Hey Napoli, you can play 1B if you sign, b/c you are a better fielder, Fielder your glove sucks, just get extra bats

I like to look at it as Fielder and Profar, but, yes, we need a LF and DH.

I think most the guys we've "missed out on" is a blessing in disguise, san Napoli, he would've done well here

I think making a statement like "Fielder is our 1B" is foolish on our part, especially when you need a bat, no matter where they play

Napoli's glove >>>> Fielder's glove

Fielder is under contract, shut up and play ball at that point

And that's what so fucking retarded about it, CHOOSING to do something and KNOWING its hurting you

Fielder is a DH only player, he just happens to be getting paid like he does both

The money is a sunk cost, do what actually makes you better

So making statements like "Fielder is our 1B, no matter what is stupid" especially before free agents have even signed, wait til ST for that shit

Moreland's glove >> Fielder's glove but no chance that Moreland is the everyday 1B.

Wash will go out of his way to make Fielder comfortable, and he's comfortable playing 1B everyday

Not much. We claimed O'Day, Andruw Jones, and others who did very little and called up Andrus and Holland. Don't remember anything outstanding.
