well, lol at SEA.

And lol at the fake anger for the 10/252 request JayZ made. Way to 'save face' by talking him out of that last $12M and adding another year on like they wanted.

So how old is Cano when this is over? Looks like all Texas and the A's are going to have to do is not sign stupid contracts that binds us up starting in 2016-2020 and the two of us will own the ALWest.

40. He'll be the DH the last 5 years of the contract.

Moving guys a few years into these massive deals seems to be all the rage. Over under 3.5 seasons of Cano in Seattle?

I told my girl last night that Cano would be gone in 3 years. I think he will want to be gone in 2.

They still paid Ellsbury that ridiculous contract...

:D

Yeah, right. Forgot about that. They should have signed Cano and went after a cheaper outfielder (Cruz or Beltran). I guess two ridiculous contracts was too much for even the Yankees.

Cano is 31. They will be paying him into his 40's while he is rolling his wheelchair to 1st. Crazy! And he will be passing Pujols who is playing 1st in his wheelchair when they play the Angels. Those are just idiotic deals. It may help now but will kick them in the rear end down the road.

yes, I've been wanting Cano to stay in NYC for this reason (partially)...however the Yankees have said they are not offering 3 years to Beltran. (we'll see)
