Hart or Morales. If you get Beltran you can get Morales and it will only cost 1 pick because you get 1 back from Nelly.
I think I'd prefer Napoli to Morales if we're giving up a draft pick anyways.

If we end up addressing our needs with any combination of the guys you mention here, I would be fine with that. Arencibia and Soto save us 80 something million by not signing McCann and means if JD decided to add a 4 or 5 starter as insurance if our rotation isn't healthy then I believe that is still an option this way. Obviously we wouldn't be paying Cruz 75 million i don't think
No argument there but in reality that probably won't happenI think I'd prefer Napoli to Morales if we're giving up a draft pick anyways.

On the MLB Network they're talking about the possibility of moving Ian to the OF. I doubt Ripken knows what he's talking about.
Boy's I have to get up at noon tomorrow so ya'll get me a LF tonight and see you tomorrow. Be careful in the weather.
Napoli will cost a lot more, and Morales might be a better hitter. Napoli gets on base more I guess.
Projected M's line-up if they sign Cano.
Ackley
Franklin
Cano
Seager
Smoak
Saunders
Zunino
Montero
Almonte
What a stupid signing it would be.
I'm not so sure I agree. here's some stats from their last two seasons
Napoli
Obp: .360, .343.
Wrc+: 129, 115,
OPS: .842, .812
Morales
OBP: .336, .320
WRC+: 116, 118
OPS: .785, .787
No doubt in my mind is rather have Napoli.
That doesn't include Naps really good year with the Rangers in 2011 right?

Catcher J.P. Arencibia and the Rangers are moving in the direction of striking a deal, FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal writes.
There you go DT
Correct. That's why I only went back two years. Napoli numbers from 2011 are video game like and completely unrealistic.
I would too, but I'm not sure I would at the difference in cost. Plus, Napoli probably won't sign to DH, Morales will. Also, stats can be swayed to prove a point.
Morales AVG last 4 seasons: .306, .290, 273, 270
Napoli: .238, .320, .227, .259
Obp and ops >>>> batting average
Also, with Napoli's hip condition I think he'd be much more inclined to take a dh role with some occasional first base time.
OBP is, I don't think OPS is. AVG relates to hits. I was just saying that you can hand pick stats to prove your particular side.
They would both upgrade the line-up. Honestly, as weak as our line-up is, I would be fine with either + Beltran or a trade for our OF
