not at allYou're hopeless but not giving up on you.
runs scored from #1 & #2 isn't the same as runs batted in
timely hitting issues were 1 through 9 in 2013
thanks for the entertainment

OK. Someone said we did not get much rbis from #1#2. I said that was because the bottom of the line up was not getting on base. That should be self explanatory but maybe I just did not make my point clear. Now, is that not somewhat accurate or did you mean #1-9 were all responsible for not hitting in a timely fashion.not at all

No problem. I take responsibility for not being clear or nor offering enough info.Is there a reason you are trying to start up trouble with someone who treats people with respect on here? There is a better way to go about it.

All I know is the #1 & 2 hitters in our lineup were 11th in the AL scoring runs. I think that shows a lack of timely hitting throughout the lineup....not just #6 through #9
and the original point was about scoring runs
"The Rangers were 11th in the AL in runs scored from their No. 1 and No. 2 hitters"
point remains....pure comedy
# 6-9 was the area being referred to when I made my first comment. That is why I addressed it the way I did but you are also correct when you say # 1-9. Sorry for the misunderstanding. All I know is the #1 & 2 hitters in our lineup were 11th in the AL scoring runs. I think we all agree on that including DT. But the comedy and entertainment stuff was not needed. You were complaining the other day about some things and how people were ripping into you and it did seem to bother you so just a little do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
and yet we continuously failed to drive in RISP to the point of a dozen or more games where we were shut out in 1-0 games because up and down the 9 batters could not get a hit or a sac fly when needed. it is more than driving in the #1 or 2 hitters it is getting the needed hit no matter who is on base
I don't feel like going back and looking...Did anyone hear Fielder's press conference? Wash stating that Fielder has never been protected, and he will bat him 3rd in the order. That puts Rios at #5. That's not much protection for Beltre.
it is...group effort last season
yep the whole group failed and we are leaning toward that same kind of outcome next season if we go into it with Soto, Moreland, Profar & Martin batting 6 thru 9
