The Dodgers latest roster addition, Ben Casperius, is another success story this year after going to Tread Athletics prior to this season. He started off this year in AA.

After a terrific opening month, Garcia struggled for the rest of 2024 until the final few weeks. He was injured in the second-to-last game of the season while trying to leg out an infield hit.

Garcia will be in the second year of the deal he signed last winter that narrowly avoided an arbitration hearing. After making $4.75 million in 2024, he is owed $9.25 million in 2025.

The key for Garcia is shortening his swing and regaining the swing velocity he lost from 2023 to 2024.

you are probably close to what it is but i don't see him as tradeable this offseason without eating most if not all of the $9.25M he's owed and i don't see them doing that. their attitude will be if we're going to pump out that much then we'll run him out there in 2025 and see if he improves his tradability by the trade deadline. still think they will throw his name and the names of Heim, Lowe and Taveras out there and see what comes back

Agree. He has not been the same for long time. Remember in the early season when he was injured in a collision and went on IL.

Father Time exacerbates injuries and prolongs them. He also slows bat speeds.

Prince Fiellder had a secret injury as well. Those kind tens to be the career threatening kind, or at least the kind that begins a career decline.
