Is everyone really okay with Soria or Scheppers as our closer? I will miss the very few blown saves given up by Nathan. I am not sure I will have that same confidence level with whoever is our next closer. And whether we like it or not we will have a designated closer.

I'm totally comfortable. I wish I was this comfortable at DH, 1st, C, LF & maybe RF too.

Think about it: we have Soria, who is coming back for his second year after Tommy John surgery, and that's normally when the guys shine. We've got Scheppers, Feliz (won rookie-of-the-year), and if pushed, we could even Ogando.

I venture a guess that no MLB team is better prepared to deal with the closer than we are.

Frankly, I'd prefer we do away with the closer position. A coach should manage his bullpen according to the game., not according to predetermined roles. Problem is, wash isn't capable of thinking that far ahead in a game. He needs those predetermined roles. Otherwise, he wouldn't know what to do.

Oklahoma has seven claimed national championships: 1950, 1955, 1956, 1974,1975, 1985, 2000. In addition to the seven claimed national titles the NCAA also recognizes eleven others: 1915, 1949, 1953, 1954, 1957, 1967, 1973, 1978, 1980, 1986, and 2003.

It should read the other way around, the claimed titles are on the bottom, and the official ones from the NCAA are at the top

Is there a manager in the majors who's experimenting with you? Just asking. If not, then it's unfair to roll the bus over Washington "on this particular" point. Lord knows, you could roll an Amtrack over him for many, many other situations.

I've never, and I mean never, been a fan of all this lefty-righty crap, 6th inning, set-up, etc. Do you remember when Palmerio was here and he hit like 15 pts better against lefties and yet, the opposition kept bringing in one for the entire season? It was astonishing they kept stepping in their own shit for 162 games.

I only recognize one, and no one I know claims 3, so some school politicking is irrelevant to me, I disagree with it and its a shame that the school officials would resort to such tactics
