The Astros stadium will now be named Daikin Park. Daikin is a Japanese AC company. They seem to be going all out to impress Sasaki. Lol

The Rangers should counter with Pokémon Park.

It seems like we haven't seen a lot of trades in the last day or two before the 40-man roster decisions have to be made to prepare for Rule 5 over the last few years. Maybe that is because other teams try to hold you up since they know you are looking to clear out room. I imagine the trades will come later, with maybe an exception for a very minor trade or two.

I think they will add no more than 4 or 5.

I think we will lose 3 guys in the draft.

The Rangers have too many lackluster options on the 40-man roster not to make room for at least 7 or 8 new guys.

True, but that most likely will not happen until after the Rule 5 protection additions.

I have been wondering why no team has hired Tyler Zombro after he has had so many successes. Now that is changing. The Rangers really missed out.

Think we could lose a Dunning and maybe gray
Pretty reckless to totally overhaul Releif guys although they pretty much need too. Not financially prudent. Need MILB guys to produce

That bullpen in 2024, other than Yates, Robertson and Urena were extremely reckless most of the year. Even with those three guys our bullpen numbers ranked toward the bottom, I believe.

Our pen caught lightning in a bottle in 2023 postseason

I like Church, Magdeleno, and Hales. They could all be ready at some point in 2025. Although we could lose Magdaleno in Rule 5.

Eventually Acker and Garcia might move to the pen, but we really need them for starting pitching depth to begin 2025.

Hopefully, they can get a proven closer and find fairly good deals for 2 or 3 other relievers like they got last year with Yates and Robertson
