In Beltre we trust.
Think he will give some pointers on stealing 2nd or how to leg out a triple?

I seem to remember the 2nd/3rd time through bein an issue when they were trying him as a starter in ST last year.I am having a hard time myself seeing Ross as a starter. He just seems to wear down easy and not sure if he really has starter's stuff once facing the lineup a 2nd or 3rd time.
Because you didn't read the thread before you posted.
I'm with you. Feeling very positive about these moves. Off to a nice start and hope to see follow up from JD.I like the shape of the supporting coaching staff. Hopefully it works out for everyone.
That's all these trials are about. Just taking a look see but may not work out. Long relief sounds more reasonable to me. Good to see you back on. Don't stay gone so long.I seem to remember the 2nd/3rd time through bein an issue when they were trying him as a starter in ST last year.
I posted about hart earlier. Imagine if we could sign hart for 2 years at 15 or 16 mil, then package moreland and EA/profar? That would forsure open up wacha possibilities. We could get damn near anyone we wanted from the cardinals for that. Its not like Harts a BAD player either. He'll get 25-30 home runs and hit around .275 with an ops of around .850.
Read your post earlier. Was wondering what other opinions were because in the case of Ruiz both positive and negative things were flying around. Sounds like Hart could be a nice improvement.I posted about hart earlier. Imagine if we could sign hart for 2 years at 15 or 16 mil, then package moreland and EA/profar? Trading Moreland is an obvious possibility. But as was pointed out above, the Cards don't want him, period. And to whomever....the Cardinals are not going to part with Wacha; again, period.
As much as I liked Byrd, I didn't think he was what we were looking for in the OF.

Why would the Cardinals want Moreland? They already have a logjam at 1B.
Moreland doesn't just play 1st base.
