Tough one to call. OU smoked both these teams and they both are shit.

Kansas State likes to run and run it alot. KSU has better QB play so I'll take them to win. He will probably set some records for rushing and scoring TDs.

Like who? The teams sitting on the outside of the top 25 with the same records have much less of an argument. Stop hating.

Exactly. Texas is ranked on cache, not results on the field.

He's asking you to name all these teams with the same record that deserve to be ranked ahead of Texas.....I'd love to see that list.

You act like barely being ranked in the top 25 is some huge deal or honor. That's a far cry from what Texas is used to.

Georgia Tech, Arkansas State, Virginia, Cincinnati, Rutgers, West Virginia, Tulsa, Ohio, TCU, Northern Illinois, and Louisiana-Lafayette. All have the same or better records and are in contention to win their respective conferences and/or have wins over ranked teams.

Texas may be a big deal in Texas, but everywhere else, you're just another perennially good team having two bad seasons.

Cincinnati with losses to Tennessee and WV
WV with losses to LSU, Syracuse and Louisville
GT with losses to Virginia, Miami, VT
Virginia with losses to NC, Southern Miss, NC St

Which of these 2 or 3 loss teams should be ahead of UT again? Honestly the best case you could make is Baylor but they lost to Iowa St and had to beat Kansas in OT. BYU lost to us, got destroyed by Utah, and lost to TCU. Tulsa has all 3 of their losses coming against top 10 teams, but they haven't even beat a team as good as BYU.

It's not all about losses. Look at the wins some of those teams have as well.

Pretty sure I gave ya'll my list; I'd rather see a team actually playing well get some love by the media and national exposure than a has-been relying on what modern society considers ancient history...

I'll give you Georgia Tech.....maybe Virginia. The rest, you're out of your mind.

I agree that we generally get ranked on name alone, but those schools/programs are not better.

Wins still count more than who you lost to; many of those teams have more than 2 wins over teams with winning records, which is exactly how many Texas has. I get it, you're defending your team, but this year I just don't think Texas deserves national recognition over the little guys this year after having a losing record.

GT beat Clemson but other than that nobody has beat anybody. I'll give you TCU, maybe Arkansas St(2 loss team that hasn't beat anybody)

I think y'all should admit that the statement about Texas not belonging in the 25 and there being "a lot" of teams that should be ahead was wrong and now y'all are defending it just for the sake of being stubborn.

Texas doesn't deserve much of anything at this point. I'll be the first to admit that. I honestly don't care if we're ranked or not. I just want to see improvement from this team of damn near all freshmen from week to week.

Texas pays for their votes, just like everything else.

Yet the fans want us to believe the most profitable program in the nation doesn't pay for anything and everything they can get their hands on.
