Killebrew is a name I have missed. He belongs in the rotation. Thank you.

Carew played in a dead era, so maybe he deserves a boost, but I am not sure he is better than Sheff. I need to take another look at Rose to reevaluate him. I have always just kicked him down the road, but maybe we are getting close to him.
Yeah those were just some off the top of my head. But I just looked at Carew again and it's amazing that he only had 1 year with 100 runs scored. Even in years where he had 200+ hits and over .400 OBP he was only in the 80's and 90's for Runs. But like you said, it was kind of a dead ball era and some of those Twins teams were dismal offensively.

Ernie Banks vs Sheffield is an interesting one. Sheffield has more "good-vg" years. Banks has a 5 or 6 year run were he was great, but really only about 10 above average seasons. I think I have Banks in that one.

Banks is another who needs to be in the rotation.

Guys is it time to drop our snobbish disdain of Nolan Ryan and give him some support?

Nolan Ryan leads ALL SP at Baseball Prospectus since 1950 in WAR with 157.86 and his prorated DRA- of 59 is only bested by Pedro’s 54 NoNo Ryan’s DRA(deserved run average) of 2.47 is also tops. View attachment 391205
