That is always a tough transition. I can speak from experience now having watched it with John Elway and Peyton Manning. It really is for the betterment of the team to just pull the band aid instead of continuing to hold onto what used to be. Broncos tried that especially after Peyton of thinking the rest of the roster was good enough to compete again with just an average QB. Well they couldn't find even an average QB and just kept throwing money in aggressive moves and well it led to the team being where it is. The past two years they have finally committed to getting younger and hitting the reset button. Saw improvement this year with one of the youngest rosters in football and the hope is with lots of cap space this year and quite a bit of draft ammo they can finally get things back on track.

That is the deal build through the draft. Take some of your aging Vets that still have some game and see if you can land a few more draft selections. You can still retain some vets or get a few quality guys at neat vet min and still have some success all while freeing up cap monies and gaining some youth.

Bottom line this is a young mans game.

In some states you can't even transport drugs from the pharmacy to grandma's without some kind of permit. It's a federal crime to have prescription meds in anything but the original container, but it's rarely enforced. I take 500 mg Naproxen with me everywhere but it's never in the original container because I don't want to carry 100 pills and certainly don't want some druggie to whack me over the head for pain meds.

A druggie would have to be pretty damn desperate to steal Naproxen seeing as it is basically a prescription strength Ibuprofen. I am supposed to take 2 500mg pills a day over 100 of them in the container on my desk as I type. My understanding is that it is an anti-inflammatory that only works when a certain level of the drug is present in the blood stream. It is not a pain killer per se and does nothing to alleviate acute pain.

I'd rather have Stidham behind a more solid OL. Spend the money on the core and the QB can be middle of the road, but the team will win. Spend the money on Brady or any other quarterback and have a piecemeal OL, the year is a waste and it might destroy that expensive QB. The team goes nowhere unless the OL is solidified.

I agree. If Brady goes or retires I want the Pats to concentrate on drafting O-line, TE and WR positions and let Stidham have a shot.

I doubt BB is going to tear it down completely. He is not going to waste the remaining years of his career on a major rebuild.

Naproxen isn't Ibuprofen. It's not an anti-inflammatory. It's more like Aleve and is a straight pain killer. This stuff was prescribed for the pain in my legs where I have neuropathy. The nerves in my legs are dead but the pain is horrific sometimes at night. During the day, you can hammer nails into both legs and I can't feel a thing. Somehow my brain sends pain messages to my legs and feet at night. The naproxen actually works after 15-20 minutes. Of course, I have to take 1000 mg.

What is Naproxen?

Naproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.

Naproxen is used to treat pain or inflammation caused by conditions such as arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, tendinitis, bursitis, gout, or menstrual cramps. It can also be used to treat acute pain caused by other conditions not listed in this medication guide.

The delayed-release or extended-release tablets are slower-acting forms of naproxen that are used only for treating chronic conditions such as arthritis or ankylosing spondylitis. These forms will not work fast enough to treat acute pain.

Yeah I just read that too. He will be tough to replace. I would take a look at Joe Rudolph pretty sure he is the O Line coach at Wisconsin, they always seem to have a great O Line

I take 660 mgs a day. It is available over the counter.
It does help with the pain by relieving inflamation. When you avoid pain meds, it is very useful.....

Brady has a mansion for sale in Brookline, MA for $33.9M
Brady bought a sprawling mansion in Greenwich, CT for $9M

Brady was supposed to be in Miami on Monday for the start of the Suoer Bowl parties but wasn't anywhere near any of the big shindigs. People were starting to ask why he wasn't there. People started texting and tweeting and they all got the same response. "I'm on my way."

Trurh be told, Brady's flight from Conn. took a bit longer because he had a stopover about 2500 miles to the west. Seems Brady was sighted in Las Vegas with one of the biggest real estate guys in Las Vegas. Now everyone id trying to find out if he actually purchased real estate in Las Vegas.

I have to assume these stats are accurate? But that's not what the eye test would've told us.
I don’t consider PFF’s analyses to be perfect by any means, but I appreciate the amount of time they spend breaking down film and evaluating each individual’s performance on a per play basis. This is essentially an eyeball test, too, but one that at least tries to establish some objectivity by evaluting every throw made by every QB. Just saying...OK Brady may not be an elite of the elite guy any more, but he’s still throwing the ball better than a lot of his peers, too. Something to consider.

Brady will sign with the Raiders. Patriots and Raiders meet up in the AFCCG. Brady drives the Raiders down the field for the go ahead TD in the waning minutes of the game but Donte Hightower forces a fumble with Brady's arm going forward. Play is ruled a fumble and is upheld because the tuck rule no longer exists. Pats win again.

It's official. According to Rob "Hardy" Poole of Authentic Sports and who was a sports guy for more than 10 years in Las Vegas, Tom Brady has purchased a house, estate or whatever in Las Vegas. Poole has connections all over the place in Vegas and he stated on 98.5 the Sports Hub, that multiple real estate people that he's spoken with said it was true. The price wasn't revealed but according to Polle is could be anywhere between $5M and $9M. Poole laughed and said that, if it was $9M that it would include a golf course.

Call me crazy but doesn't Brady currently work for the Patriots? Seems like the Pats would have a very strong case against the Raiders for tampering if Brady did indeed purchase a house and then ended up signing there.

Or am I wrong about that?
