It's the fucking NFL where every GM thinks they are smarter than everyone else. I happen to like Mettenberger and thought the Lions should have taken him where he was drafted. But Whisenhut's first year was a disaster and he may feel the need to draft a franchise QB if for no other reason than to buy him a couple of years grace period.

Great leaders have to be able to communicate with their entire team. I doubt very seriously that Jameis will be able to do that with more than a handful of players.
