You might be right. It would be nice if some of minor leaguers started to really put it together. But I am not going to hold my breath.

We're a little over a year into the CY era, and so far I've been pretty impressed with what they've done in that time. One good draft, one really good draft, a good trade, and a huge FA splash.

Frustrating watching this team and seeing how far away they are from really competing. After watching what Preller and Dipoto have done with the Padres and Mariners, it sucks to watch the slow pace and lack of urgency. Those dudes make some moves.

if it goes according to plan, we could be set up for a long run of contention. hopefully it'll be worth the wait.

I really hope the Rangers open next year with at least
1. Ace through acquirement
2. Perez
3. Gray
4. Dunning
5. Otto/Ragans then White/Winn etc..

With injuries and underperformance you can never have too much pitching..imo.. a lot of great teams have 8-9 guys start 4+ games a year.

I’m under the belief that Howard and Hearn would excel out of the bullpen which could help the bullpen for essentially “free”

Get a true LF, DH or 1B who is a beast

Get a bad MF to come out of the bullpen.

I would trade for one and sign the other 2 (3 counting Perez) through FA.

Keep the system loaded though so we can make the necessary trade(s) next summer to help solidify the team.

With the rise of our prospects I think 3 additions (4 counting perez) would help the team be in contention come next trade deadline.

I believe this is the way the Front Office will approach the off-season as well

Maybe Santana instead of Richards.. being that Richards can go multiple innings.. which we desperately need unfortunately
