Have a feeling this will press them to take a RB at 24:

Wait, the Bills? Didn't they just take Zack Moss last year? And they have SIngletary & Breida... I call bullshit
Yeah the bills did. But he was round 5...and neither has done great.

Brian billick was just on the radio discussing the draft and about the report if taking a rb. He laughes and said right now is when everyone is leakinh as much false info as they can. You cant believe a thing you hear.

I would assume that but their best RB has still been Allen. I think their team is build to have as many RB's as possible hoping one sticks. Sort of like the Steelers.

Personally I would never take a RB in the first round unless you know it will be the next Derrick Henry.

I was real big on them going RB last year because of that class but it's hard to look at Claypool and say they made the wrong decision.

I still wish they had gone G/C Lloyd Cushenberry out of LSU... I was so angry they passed on him lol. Cushenberry made the all-rookie team and was one of the best rookie O-lineman last year. Granted, he had Munch so he was in good hands. And had they drafted Cushenberry I'm sure he would have been treated like Dotson was. Feiler getting the nod when healthy. I guess in that sense Claypool would have still made a bigger impact last year lol.

Well I missed the boat completely on the OL last year. I was in denial no matter how many times you guys told me we were fooked lol. But yeah, Cushenberry would have made a tone of sense even if it cost us Claypool. Would make WR more of a priority this year but it's still another good class.

Quote from Urban Meyer:

“The whole idea of value is completely new to me. I’m relying on [defensive coordinator] Joe Cullen and [offensive coordinator] Darrell Bevell, and obviously Trent and his staff,” Meyer said, via the team’s website. “I’m a quick learner. The last three or four weeks, this has been our entire life. Trusting the board is key. I’m at the point, almost, where I will trust it. As coach, I can see where we need this, we need this, we need this. That’s where you get yourself in trouble. It’s been a great learning experience for me.”

He's already learned more than Tomlin has in regards to the draft. BPA. Trust your board.

He wasn't a critical piece last year, not with Pierre breaking out above him.

All things considered, I wouldn't be surprised if CB is a particularly high priority for them in the draft.

The whole situation, how stupid can you be?

You choose to drive under a suspended license AND carry a firearm in the car that can get you in trouble.

And then you bring attention to yourself by speeding.

Outside of doing illegal things, the sheer stupidity....

He does this when he has a rookie contract that is set to pay him out about $4MM over 4 years.

Just trying to throw his own future away.

Ooh for fucks sake. He doesn't have two neurons to rub together.

He makes calls from the back of the cruiser that the cop overheard:

"they might get me for the pistol'
"It's over, I'm going down"
"Fuck the warrant, I aint trying to go to jail for the gun"
"They acting like I got some drugs, I got one blunt"

Alright so narrowing in on the possible 1st Rd selection for the Steelers its looking like the following are a strong possibility:

RB Najee Harris
RB Travis Etienne
CB Asante Samuel
EDGE Jayson Oweh
TE Pat Freiermuth
EDGE Azeez Ojulari

Based on participation in pro days & virtual visits.

That said, I'd still want my 1st Rd big board to look like this:

1. OT Darrisaw, VA Tech
2. OT Jenkins, Ok St
3. LB Collins, Tulsa
4. LB J O-K, ND
5. OT Leatherwood, Alabama
6. LB Parsons, PSU
7. RB Harris, Alabama

2nd Rd...

1. IOL Dickerson, Alabama
2. IOL Davis, OSU
3. CB Campbell, Georgia
4. CB Stokes, Georgia
5. CB Molden, WA
6. RB Williams, UNC
7. RB Sermon, OSU
8. OT Eichenberg, ND

Draft week is here, and I'm sad to say but I think they're going to go RB at 24, which is a bad, bad choice IMO.

Personally, the perfect first three rounds for me would be:
1) Jenkins/Radunz
2) Dickenson
3) Sermon
I've seen Sermon play, people are seriously downplaying him (he's not great but he's definitely a good pick), put him behind a strong OL and our running game would improve better than Harris behind a weak OL, and then next year would be the complete vision of a post-Ben era Steelers with good QB class (Slovis, Corral, etc.) and a good WR class (Dotson, Wilson, etc.) and if I'm not mistaken we should have much better cap space next year, future is looking bright long-term wise, but too many people online are looking at what to do now which is a joke.

I like your 1st Rd Big Board.

After JOK, I'd want to trade down that 1st, though. I'd add Kwity Page above Parsons though.

Jenkins is nuts. I'd put him even with Darrisaw.
