They are 6-3 with wins over 3-7 Rice, 7-3 BYU, 5-5 UCLA, 5-4 Iowa State, 2-8 Kansas, and 5-5 Texas Tech. Not exactly Top 25 material with that resume...

There a lot of 6-3/7-3 teams that deserve to be ranked ahead of Texas; losing to ranked teams (or should I say getting blown out by ranked teams) and a 5-5 Missouri team isn't really much of an argument. Texas is just like Ohio State, Michigan, Miami, Florida State, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma in that they will always be ranked ahead of more deserving teams because of their brand, not their success on the football field.

How did you enjoy your bowl trip last year. One bad game is a lot better than a terrible season. My team showed heart and guts by winning 11 in a row after that. How did you guys handle adversity.....

It's not an open wound when you finish the season in a BCS game with another conference title, that was my point.
