Looks like Matt Schaub is going to be the starter... If we lose to a Matt Schaub led team, that would be a shame... We can't fall behind or make unforced errors out of the gate... That's what's allowed teams to hang around...

With Ryan, the Falcons put up a lot of yardage so it's nice to know we're not going to be facing him but they still have some big play makers in J. Jones, C. Ridley, Hooper and D. Freeman... Need to stop giving giving up the chunk plays - seems like we've given up our fair share of those this year...

Looking forward to see 3 of our rookies get more PT tomorrow... M. Blair had a pretty good debut last week... Can't wait to see how he develops and grows... L. Collier will finally see a bit more significant playing time with Jefferson out this game... Curious to see what we actually have in him as a player... I'm excited to see DK Metcalf go up against the Falcons secondary... With M Trufant out this game that secondary is very vulnerable... DK should have a pretty big game... I'd like to see him with 6 catches / 110 yards and a TD type of a game... Definitely a possibility tomorrow...

I expect our defense to have 4 plus sacks w/ a interception or two... This is the type of game our defense could finally come alive, while clicking on all cylinders...

After lasts weeks debacle, this team needs to come out on fire on both sides of the ball. The Falcons are beyond dumpster fire so there shouldn't be any excuses.

Yep, this in a nutshell. The Falcons defense is awful and their Oline is worse than ours used to be. Zero excuses for sure if the Hawks want to be a play-off contender. And with Schaub starting, even moreso. That dude was trash when he was an actual starter in Houston. He's 38 and hasn't started a game in forever. Even with Ryan, Atlanta is not good and lost to the Cards.
Now, having said that, I hope the Hawks go in there all business and don't take this team for granted like they seemed to do vs. the Bungals. A one score victory like that would be extremely disappointing to me.

This feels like one of those annoying games...

One of those annoying games where we go up against a crappy team at basically full health (I believe Duane Brown is back) against a BACKUP QB who I didn't even realize was still in the league... and we'll either lose or BARELY win like 28-27 or something requiring a final drive TD for the win.

WE SHOULD win by 7+ points... but it just feels like one of those 'eye roll' games.

Almost positive he is NOT. He was limited in practice and dealing with some injuries prior to the trade, which was... the reason he was traded for so cheap. He's decent when healthy, but really hasn't been all season.

Nice pick by Kendricks, but our D from a scheme standpoint must improve... 4th down play they just ignore the TE who is IN MOTION for an easy 4th down completion totally uncovered... Then we go 1 on 1 with Atlanta's biggest threat, Julio Jones, thankfully it was a offensive PI ... I'm losing faith in Norton every week, I'm not sure what he's thinking strategy wise sometimes, he's putting this defense in difficult positions....

Oh God... Kendricks intercepted. That means Norton will continue the 4-3 routine even when the opposing team uses 5 WRs.
