When we redo Agholor we will have over 33 million. We will be signing some mid tier FAs. But I know the Hoop routine, the Eagles are absolutely fucked and need to replace a 3rd string G, 6 guys who didn’t play because of injury, a 3rd string TE, a ST guy a #4 WR picked up mid season and replace them all with all pros.
oh now were down to 6, lmao goal posts moving again!!!

I get some of this but not all. What did you mean in “you’re not straight Philly” and that “Madden has been brought back from the dead”.
Eagles do have some issues but I’m just tired of reading over and over and over how we are fucked for about 13 different reasons.
meh, you got the owls out there, now, but feel like you're a suns fan. to this cats point, yeah, it's not that dire. 22 starting spots, plenty of injuries, outside of bennett, not seeing many losses, i figured the post quoted was about doing it through the draft, that was later clarified, end of the day, team looking in much better shape than the soap opera across trailer park.

Sixers, Owls and Eagles for life. Grew up and lived in NW Philly for 30 years. Eagles season ticket holder in the 90’s at the Vet back when 700 level seats were $40 and you could but the 10 game season plan for $200. Sports is super lame out here man. Totally different culture and will never drop my allegiance.

And what we are trying to tell you are they aren’t crucial to our success. We understand depth. Most of those guys are easily replaced. What you don’t understand is the never ending narrative of how we are fucked. First it was the cap will kill you at the end of the season. Then resigning Wentz will be the Eagles demise. Now it’s a bunch of guys who never even played or over 33 years of age or spent the entire season on IR are going to be the end.

Book marking this!

the real question is.
How much does it cost to fill out the rest of the roster to get to 53 players.
Who do you skip going after because you can afford it. How many people do you settle for just to stay under the cap that you may have not hired.
How much better or worse will your team be this year vs. last year.

Dont know what your cap # is at the moment but I do know 6.9 mil of it goes to your rookies. So dont count 6.9 of it when figuring out how to sign 17 more players or however many it is.

Pretty sure you wont be getting all these players for league min's.
Although as a Cowboy fan I think that would be awesome.
Pretty sure some of these replacements will come in the millions not hundred thousands.

It doesnt even matter when you show him later HIS EXACT WORDS, he will just deflect and say that's not what he meant and still hasn't been proven wrong

The butt hurt on this one is hilarious.
Current and 6x SB winners
vs
One and done and an early playoff exit. Add 17 spots to fill with approximately $20M. Yeah I'm butt hurt. :pound:

so all of those guys mean nothing, and are easily replaceable? by taking lesser players? ALL of them?

ajayi, sproles........wentz boy is mathews.....tate didnt perform but has value, mike wallace is a dud
rodgers is a good blocker, very good......warmack very solid back up. ngata definitely has value, as does hicks for sure, and woriow, plus darby so umm yeah a good bit off the top of my head
They may still lose Long and likely losing Bennett. The list continues to grow. But hey $20M or so can replace all these vets with equal or greater value:pound:

Correct. When they're the last 10 players on your roster. I'll worry more about the 1st 30 vs the last 10. You know starters vs bench/injured players. And the Eagles 1st 30 is largely unchanged going into next year.
Come on we were told by the Philly faithful that the reason they didn't repeat was because of injury and no talent to back up those injured players.
So you'll pardon us for laughing hysterically every time a Philidiot suggests they don't have a problem. Yeah we believe all your rookies will pan out, better vets will replace those lost, Sudfeld will be able to handle getting the Eagles into the playoffs...

Do you have any idea how ignorant that sounds outside of Philly?

No, I'm saying the Eagles, just like all teams, need to rely on the draft and lower lever FA's to replace the backups and injured players they lose every year. You keep your core together (ie the starters and main backups) and replace through the draft the last spots. Fill in 1 or 2 major holes in FA and build a team that way.
What you're missing are those teams already have some depth built in and don't have to replace a third of their team.

Like I was with 4 year contracts? Like I was with Philly being 26 million under the cap? Haha haha. No

When they do Agholors deal probably about 33 million under with a ton of holes

Brady
White
Andrews and most of the offensive line
Gronk
Edelman
Hogan
Gostowski
Ryan Allen
Flowers
Devin McCourty
Chung
Harmon
Van noy
Malcolm Brown
Hightower

That’s off the top of my head.

Here’s who they LOST of any significance (again, off the top of my head)

Solder
Cannon
Dion Lewis
Amendola
Malcolm butler

Again, that’s off the top of my head. When the pats lost the guys I listed above it was considered at the time “a lot of big losses” and it was only 5 guys. You are writing of 17 guys!! And that list doesn’t even include Foles!!

Oh snap.

Not to mention those 5 players had decent back ups that could fill in and did. NE also didn't have to mortgage the farm because their GM didn't allow them to get put into cap hell.

Whoever paid for Howies, as PE1 puts it for law contract school should be fired.
