When was the last time you remember the Eagles trading a player with his production over a contract dispute?I think what @fightinfunbags is saying is what the Eagles are thinking here, that they can let him seek a trade and thus find out what his market value is, which could help them renegotiate his deal. But there is always the risk that it doesn't work and he just holds out or something. There were some weird vibes at the end of the season in Philly and I also wonder if certain players may get dealt for locker room chemistry issues.
