FSU won’t get him, but with Sam Howell flipping on us today, Fields would be huge.

WT has to do everything in his power to get him. Starting to look like FSU may get skunked on a QB in this class again
Unless it's in his power to quit coaching so they can get a better coach, I don't think they wind up with him.

I'm guessing maybe the lack of development from some of your guys is hurting the program there?

Sometimes the lesser recruited QBs turn out better anyway

I think it might be between Oklahoma and Ohio St and that's it honestly. Both will be losing their starting QB's, and great ones. Both have outstanding young OC's. Probably the edge to Ohio St, on the fact that he worked out with Haskins this past summer I'm sure he is talking up Ohio St.

I don't think there would be any hard feelings.

OU is QB heavy at this point and, this ain't Pokemon.

Good luck to him and you.

For him to come too OU, he will have to be available immediately and transfer in January. If he has to sit out a year, it doesn't make any sense to compete with another 5 star QB. Rattler will need to put on about 15-20 pounds over the next 18 months and develop his game. I would love 2 years with Fields, followed by 2 years with Rattler.

Seeing something on Twitter that Fields "strongly considering Ohio State" but also interested in "Oklahoma, UCF, and UCLA" ... Hey, if it's on the internet, it must be true.

Most college kids run their mouth but they're also unpredictable

Thus a semi decent list but generally a guy ends up at one in that list

Unless Adidas money comes pouring in college hoops style (I'm looking at you Arizona)

If he doesn't win his eligibility case with the NCAA, I'm not sure it makes sense for him to go to either OSU or OU. Both have highly touted QBs on their rosters that will be playing this year, and assuming they don't fail dramatically, he's going to be facing an uphill battle to start in 2020.

JF can lick my old salty taint.

i don't care that he wants to transfer. He is not going to beat out Fromm. If he needs to go somewhere else to get PT, go for it. Seriously, no issue here.

However, he is meddling with current players and recruits. He dropped some racists BS before signing day. I hope Kirby lets him practice for the Sugar Bowl, puts him in for one play, and makes him hand it off.

Screw Him.

New transfer rules are making things tricky.
In this day and age of hypersensitivity over racial lines, my guess is the NCAA just allows his waiver to go through as opposed to bringing the negative publicity onto itself. If there was no proof it happened that'd be one thing, but the guy admitted to it, so it's pretty cut and dry.

If this happens, it would be a hell of a gut punch to Penn State, who once had his commitment.

Not sure why he isn't considering them now? It's the ideal spot. I think Tommy Stevens has potential, but not as much as Fields.
