He was part of a(n) historic signing class for UGA. I’m sure it was exciting being a part of it. Plus, according to the cognoscente, Fromm is a “game manager”, while Fields is a dynamic “dual threat” (something we are assured daily EVERY team needs to contend). No doubt the pundits led him to believe it was his job for the taking.

The reality is that Fromm is the PERFECT QB for UGA. Replacing him would be beyond dumb, and Kirby is hardly dumb. If JF leaves, UGA will get a transfer to serve as insurance, and then grab a top QB in 2020 to be Fromm’s heir. UGA now is a recruiting machine. They hardly need Fields.

Cleveland is WAY too smart to hire Lincoln. You need to play defense in the NFL, and Riley couldn't care less about it. He has a ways to go before any NFL teams should consider him for anything but a coordinator.

He had a fantastic OC in Matt Canada and he ran him off because he was too smart.
