Uh, you mean the refs almost stole that game?

The Refs made some bad calls but the issue was they didn't call it even. They were letting the Browns get away with way more contact than they were with Seattle. I NO WAY would say the refs almost cost us this game, I 100% would say that the fact our Coaching staff wouldn't run the damn ball did. They put to much on Geno's plate and when you do that he chokes. The Hawks Offense has good enough talent to carry a mid tier QB unless that QB is throwing INT's!

Hawks could end up being the #2 seed in the NFC after today! That is amazing. Still early in the season yes but I would have NEVER guessed that in a million years for this season at ANY point of the season.

Agreed, go back and look at my early time stamped posts... they were letting the Browns away with false start 100% on their center and holding on their center especially and OTs... it was ridiculously blatant. Again, these refs should be investigated.

The only thing i saw was on a 3rd and long they got away with a BLATANT false start that was easy to see and got a huge play out of it. They ended up scoring when they shouldn't have. The 3rd down stops with "hands to the face" On Witherspoon was Bullshit his hand NEVER hit the facemask it was on the shoulder pad and the Browns scored again. The Other 3rd down PI was VERY ticky tack when our WR's were getting MUGGED but other than that it wasn't to bad it was just mostly Geno playing like SHIT! He either throws into coverage because that was the guy he choose BEFORE the snap he was going to throw to or he throws it to his check down there is nothing else to his game. Oh other than the past 3 or 4 weeks he has been throwing BEHIND his WR a lot. Thats easy to explain though as he is throwing it late. ALWAYS late.

Which is why it doesn't make sense with our run to pass ratio... In the off season, when Geno was signed and Charb was drafted, Carroll mentioned that he wanted his offensive identity to lean more on the run... That doesn't seem like what's happening so far this season... Can't really question it too much because we are 5-2 but still... We've been a bit more pass heavy... Games like today, I don't understand why we abandon the run like we did when we're ramming it right down their throats...

Great win. Browns had a great defense and really exploited our weakness covering screens.

Geno really struggled today. Great to see him finish the way he did

If you watch early on, their center was false starting 24/7... and the holding on the guard position was insane... Seattle's defense as you pointed out was screwed over multiple times.

Cleveland is lucky they didn't lose this game 31-7 (their first screen filled TD I'll give em).

We had a lot of very short gain runs. Charbs and K9 had 119 yards but 67 of those yards were on 2 runs.

Tough to stay with the run on 2nd and 8.

And our short yardage offense is terrible.

You 100% can Question it, Don't be complacent just because we won. Just good enough is never "Good enough"!

Just good enough just means you draft late every year and never win a playoff game.

Maybe they should have replaced Geno on that last drive

Maybe, Or maybe replaced him sooner and the Hawks win 27-20 because Lock doesn't take a sack taking them out of FG range or throws a Pick at the end of the 1st half. Or do you know that wouldn't have happened? Did you not see that Geno was throwing only "short" passes at the end? Or are you just blatantly defending him again? LMFAO you fight the good fight stand by your man.

Here you go flyer

Sometimes it's hard to be a woman
Givin' all your love to just one man
You'll have the bad times
And he'll have the good times
Doing things that you don't understand
But if you love him, you'll forgive him
Even though he's hard to understand, mm, mm
And if you love him, oh, be proud of him
'Cause after all, he's just a man
Stand by your man
Give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
When nights are cold and lonely
Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can, mm, mm
Stand by your man, hmm, hmm
Stand by your man (Ooh, ooh)
And show the world you love him (Ooh, ooh)
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man, mm, mm, mm

:D
