Game Thread: Week 17: NY Jets @ Seahawks *MUST WIN*

This is definitely a "MUST WIN" for those of us who would like to see the Hawks get into the playoffs... It's a *MUST LOSE* for those that would just like to see us lose out and gain a better draft pick... Regardless of our opinions on the matter, we can all agree that this is a *MUST PLAY* game...

• Seahawks #13th ranked offense vs NY Jets #3 ranked defense...
• Seahawks #30th ranked defense vs NY Jets #21 ranked offense

This is going to be an interesting game... Mike White returns for the NY Jets but he's only an avg NFL QB... It will be interesting seeing DK going up against Sauce and Lockett (if he plays) going up against ex-Hawk, DJ Reed. Like the Hawks, the Jets have been struggling of late as well, including an 0-4 record in the month of December with both teams losing 5 of their last 6 games... The Jets would also be eliminated from the postseason w/ a loss so they'll be coming in here to knock us in the mouth... We better be ready to match that intensity because too be honest, I haven't seen the Hawks come out with intensity in the 1st quarter...

Main thing that sucks is the Jets play a similiar defense to the 49ers and we all know how well we do against that 49ers defense... Also, we'll be facing ex-Hawk's Duane Brown and George Fant...

Jets just need to run the ball and play action, nothing fancy.

Put Woolen on Garrett Wilson and try and stop the run as best as possible. Limit the TO's, get the run game going and try getting our TE's involved. Match the Jets intensity since they still have playoff hopes and hopefully get out with a W.

Our Offense is over rated and the Jets Defense is top flight. To all those holding votes for year end rewards Gardner DID NOT make this a top 3 Defense but Woolen would have made you #1 lol

We have seen this lately in Seattle but the Hawks for some reason play like DOG CRAP at home. 17-14 last 4 season ( 20-13 on the road ). As a diehard 12 I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS!

NO WAY this team should be a .500 club at home with this fan support.

Jets have a great defense. The Jets just need to run the ball although Al Woods is playing so that wont be as easy.

It'll probably be a 12-9 type of game with field goals galore and over fairly quick because of non-stop running by the Jets. If Cody Barton is on the field 50+ times we have a good chance to lose.
