Yes, your starting center has yet to play.
Yes, you started the season with a tough West coast road trip.
But, c'mon man.
No team with a Wall and Beal back court should be this bad in the modern NBA.
And giving up 125 a game (30th best) speaks volumes to your effort.

Simple answer - They're not very good. This is a franchise that has traditionally followed a good season with a bad one, and vice versa. Given their complacent approach to this past offseason, it would not have been the boldest prediction in the world to say they'd have consecutive bad seasons at the conclusion of this one.

Has any other GM in history ever weaseled their way into such a long term position by doing everything in their power to keep a low profile and therefore avoid all blame and media focus??

He is like the dude from Office Space before they "Fixed the Glitch".

I am not even sure the Wizards are aware he has been their GM for FIFTEEN YEARS of mediocrity or worse...
