Why the Vikings didn't overpay for Sam Bradford...

i had them no better than 9-7 with Bradford. Then i saw their defense sunday night and thought i'd have to possibly adjust upward. Now with AP down, i'm back to my original 7-8 wins. I've seen enough of Bradford to know if the vikes win it'll be because of their Defense.

well I'd say thats covered either way. If they win it's all on the defense. I'll have to watch a little more, two wins is a pretty good start and the Vikings are always a tough draw at home. Good football fans and a far cry from philly.
We'll see.

He looked excellent considering he was playing one of the best defenses in the league.

The Vikings will be in the NFCCG BECAUSE of Sam Bradford.

He has had a HORRIBLE situation since entering the league.

Id think more because of their defense.....they tore up poor ol`cam and the boys today.

you must not have much of a life. While I can admit I am suprised that they beat the Panthers I am also surprised about the Cardinals sucking as well. I can admit I am wrong. However...are you going to sit here and say you knew all along the Vikings were better than they Panthers?

You don't give up a 1st plus more for a game manager. Hill could have done that.

I am one of the few people on the Eagles board that thought Bradford was a good QB. I have always maintained that and never retracted that statement.

I agree....however....I was one of the people that thought that Wentz should sit the season and learn the game instead of playing. When the trade was made I was ok with it because we got a 1st round pick back. While I think Bradford is a good QB I do not think he was worth a 1st round pick. The Eagles coaching staff definitely know than most of us. I thought this would be a rebuild year with Wentz starting. I am now beginning to believe the Eagles have a legit shot at the playoffs.

I still think Eli will give these young QBs in the east a lesson in late season heroics, but expect good things for a long time from Wentz and Dak.

Alot of the credit has to go to the Minnesota D - they were pretty dam good yesterday. 8 sacks, 12 QB hits, 3 INTs, 6 passes deflected. ST had a punt return TD.

The offense scored 1 TD. Sam did a good job of managing the game - 18/28 171 yards and 1 TD. It's still September - if Minny can beat Green Bay and Carolina in DEC they may very well be in the NFCCG, but I'm still going to wait until we get out of September before I go out and buy Bradford pajamas.

The real not so funny thing is my dumb ass Rams gave up the farm when all they needed was a game manager too. Look at what Bellicheck did with a no name rookie last week.
