One Pretty Kinky Bastard
Rams wins another one maybe they are in the conversation. Until then we has 2 and we just somewhere close but with some dam good teams. Warner and Faulk were fun to watch
I hated their asses. Bulger too

And i think we hit our high (SB XL) and started to come down.Bulger got smoked later in his career. He’s probably in a nursing home somewhere. That’s about when Stan started to tank the team in STL
Considering the lack of Super Bowl success, the Vikings will have a difficult time cracking the top 10. But I'll make my case.
Given the success and heartbreak of 4 Super Bowl Losses and 6 NFC Championship Game losses, it would be appropriate to include the Vikings as the best team to never win one.
Let's ask this, The Bucs and Ravens both have multiple titles, but one was a complete joke for 25 years until they won one and the other has only existed as a team for 25 years. Would either be considered "storied franchises"?
If we are talking superbowl era.Let's nominate them, and then maybe I'll do a poll on who are the top 10 storied franchises. You can use any criteria you want. Super Bowl success is sure to be a factor, but you can assign it whatever weight you want. I will start by nominating two franchises that don't have much Super Bowl success, though they both won a lot of championships prior to the Super Bowl, which should never be forgotten. I nominate the Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears.

Not quite- just off kilter column I can't seem to align for some reason...Chiefs with more wins than the Cowboys. I never would've guessed that.
The Lions have the same number of SB wins and NFL Championships as the Browns.Packers, Bears, Steelers, Patriots, Cowboys, Browns, 49ers, Raiders, Giants and Colts

Cmon now…
Detroit was 4-1 against Cleveland during that run in the playoffs. You're right. The Browns and Lions dominated the 1950s.
You're right. The Browns and Lions dominated the 1950s.
Paul Brown, Otto Graham, and Jim Brown are just a lot more iconic than any OG Lions player or coach. But for some reason people remember the Browns, but not the Lions. Why?
Idk.But for some reason people remember the Browns, but not the Lions. Why?
they are deadBut for some reason people remember the Browns, but not the Lions. Why?
I agree. if you read how the championships were done back then. (with the handful of teams)Idk.
Neither one should be involved in this though.
The Broncos are literally more storied than the Browns, Giants, and Colts, and possibly the Bears and Raiders. Tied for 2nd all time in SB appearances with 8(Which is more appearances than the Browns, Bears, and Colts combined) and winning 3 is more than the Bears, Colts and tied with LV.Packers, Bears, Steelers, Patriots, Cowboys, Browns, 49ers, Raiders, Giants and Colts
Yep. Completely different beast back then.I agree. if you read how the championships were done back then. (with the handful of teams)
Nothing like today. Or when they jumped to 20+ teams & more standard rules.
That is why I stick to the Superbowl Era.
Yep. Completely different beast back then.
Hell, the Lions won their last playoff game three straight times in the 60’s at one point.
Nobody remembers, because if you didn’t win your Conference in the regular season, you couldn’t win the championship.
“The Playoff Bowl” was essentially the game for third place. No playoff to get into the game, just seeding. You lose you’re done. You win, you’re also done. Lol
