The offense needs to find some success. The Defense is inconsistent. Lots of mistakes.

Mike Ford was the star of the first half for the Broncos. The special teams tackle was a fantastic play by him.

Just like the end of last weeks game. Drive down and force a throw that was intercepted.

Lots of mistakes that they ultimately could not overcome. The team did not execute well in any phase of the game for 3 quarters. Need to play better.

On to Las Vegas. Big divisional game next week at home.

Heard before the game that the team didn’t even get into Pittsburgh til last night. You’ve got an early Sunday game and you leave for the game late. Have to wonder if some of the players may have been jet lagged.

Vic said they were not going to get into Pittsburgh until about 7 PM last night due to no meeting rooms available due to wedding reservations. They had their pre-game meetings in Denver and then flew to Pittsburgh.

Based on what Vic said, they are not the only team to have those issues. Seems odd to me, that doesn’t seem like something that a team would lie about.

One thing has become apparent, how big the loss of Jewel was for the defense. Back to back weeks where the opponent has run right through us. The run D is supposed to be our strength but has not looked like it at all. Pittsburgh was struggling bad rushing, yet they had a field day today.

2 bonehead plays probably cost Denver 9 points and the win.
