The Broncos coming off a disappointing loss where they underachieved. Both teams have strong Defenses but suspect offenses, especially after the less then encouraging offenseive showing in week 4. This has all the look of a low scoring game considering the offensive struggles, and the strength of the defense each will be facing.

It sounds like the Broncos might start getting some guys back. Boone, Bridgewater, Darby, Glasgow, Risner, Surtain, and Spencer may all be avialable for the Steelers game, which will be a nice boost. I have not watched the Steelers play, but sounds like their issues start with offensive line. It will not help them if Claypool misses the game, but he did participate in practicate today.

This will be a game is one that feels like the Broncos have a chance of being succesful, but the Broncos are still a 1 point dog per ESPN.

If the Broncos can get a win against the Steelers would be nice confidence boost going into Raiders week.

Not sure if this has been discussed, but I, for one, would like to see Teddy given a rest this weekend and allowed to heal. Given that Lock is taking 1 snaps and being gameplan-ed, let’s use this week to rest Teddy and fully examine Lock. For better or worse.

People are really dogging on Drew Lock.. Let's be honest... Coming off the bench cold behind; to the Ravens at halftime is asking a lot for your backup QB to come in and win that game and look good.

I'm not saying Lock is going to look good if he starts vs the Steelers but I don't take much of what he did vs Baltimore to heart.

That being said. I think Teddy will play and I think if he is healthy you have to play him. At 3-1 on the road to the Steelers I think you play the best QB that gives us the best chance to win which is Teddy Bridgewater.. If he isn't healthy then of course.. Sit him.

I agree that when healthy you start Teddy. I do think the NFL maybe should look at forcing guys to sit 1 week after a concussion.

Statistically Drew played better the Teddy did. I give Drew a bit of pass on the INT, but wish it would have gone better. In a lot of ways that was a summary of the game for the offense, just didn’t get it done.

If people are digging on Lock they should be digging on Teddy for their play against the Ravens. Neither was good enough.

Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (ankle) is questionable for Week 5 against the Steelers.

Sutton rolled his ankle in practice on Friday, bringing his availability for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh into question. With Jerry Jeudy (ankle), K.J. Hamler (torn ACL), and TE Albert Okwuegbunam (hamstring) already ruled out, Tim Patrick, Kendall Hinton, and David Moore could start in Denver's three-wide sets with Teddy Bridgewater (concussion, expected to play) by default. It's an uninspiring offense to chase against the Steelers.

Steelers WR James Washington is out which becomes a bigger deal for them because Claypool is banged up.

What ancient curse did we bring down on ourselves with all these injuries? And how do we break it?

I seriously wonder what is up with the Broncos and injuries. The proverbial football gods really really hate us.

With that said, I saw Teddy Bear was practicing again and assuming he starts, I say the Broncos go into Pittsburgh and Steel one. (Haha, I'm so lame.)

Broncos 24, Steelers 20. Offense 373 total yards.

Maybe it's time to try throwing a rookie into a volcano?

The injury report going into Sunday’s game:
Denver Broncos:
Patrick Surtain II - Questionable
Dionte Spencer - Questionable
Teddy Bridgewater - Questionable
Melvin Gordon - Questionable
Courtland Sutton - Questionable
Albert Okwueegbunam - Out

Pittsburgh Steelers:
Raashad Coward - Out
Cameron Sutton - Out
Carlis Davis - Out
James Washington - Out

Sounding like Teddy should play. Both Glasgow and Risner are not on the injury report. If memory serves me correctly Fangio indicated Gordon and Surtain are expected to play. Albert O. may end up on IR today.

We have a chance in this game. My only worry is that if Pittsburgh gets any lead at all, we know Shurmur will give up on the run completely and Watt and the Steelers D will feast on whoever is behind center.

Hoping that doesn’t happen, but I have zero confidence in Shurmur calling a good game after how awful he was last week.

Interesting that we activated Darby off IR and make him inactive.
