We just might get this game flexed to SNF. It seems the most logical choice.

Would they give us 2 in a row though?

No. Because no one gives a shit about west coast teams, outside the west coast.

but it could have huge playoff implications, and people care about that. Plus divisional games are always good

Sad but true.

I can see NY vs Baltimore but its not a division game. Also could see cinci VD Pitt in the division or possibly DAllas vs saints but saints are out of it.

Fox or CBS have some say as well and might want the Baltimore game on there network. It really could be our game.

If I had to guess right now, my guess is that they'll go with the Giants at Ravens if they can. Bengals and Steelers is another one that could mean alot. Those two I would probably guess ahead of the 49ers game.

If they were 1/2 game apart and the game could mean the division that might make it more likely. Two young quarterbacks leading their teams.

With the scheduled game being Chargers VS Jets, normally a CBS broadcast, I would expect them to pick up another CBS game, not a FOX game.

If Dallas is still alive, I'd put my money on that game getting flexed. Even if they are not alive, there are reasons for NBC to flex this game. Reasons (legitimate or not):

--America's Team
--Sean Payton to Dallas Intrigue
--Potential Playoff Implications (if DAL is alive)
--Potential for an offensive shoot out
--If the NYG are waiting for seeding, you have a huge media market with interest.
--They can milk the Saints downfall one more time

All kinds of talking points for this game.

I'd like to see Niners get flexed but wouldn't this answer be known soon as in early this week? Thought they need to flex games with 2 weeks in advance?

But watch NYG vs Balt get the nod....

Giants-Ravens and Bungles-Steelers have been protected by networks according to link. They can't flex.

Based on the article, Baltimore v NYG has been protected as has Cincy vs Pitts. I'd say our game is the only option left. Dallas and the Saints may go. And there's potential ratings there. Drew Brees and Tony Romo are network favorites.

Kaep/Wilson
Defense/Defense
Actual playoff/division implications
