I can get it at the end of a game (like Harbaugh wanting to go for it until Likely was ruled out) but I agree. Get your points. Seems it backfires far too often. I could be completely wrong on that statistically - just what I observe. Since moving back the kick though, maybe the risk has diminished.

Not sure mah dude... I'm watching all this shit on delay because I live in Chitcago and am stuck with our crappy broadcasting.

Success is estimated between 40%-55%, not enough success to justify doing it this early just to avoid a tie before halftime.

It's usually a second or 2 delay. The ref has to look at the clock, see zero, look back and see the ball isn't snap and then throw the flag. I've seen a lot of these in this game and the Buf Ari game earlier..

Of course we get another safety.
