The Raiders have a capable enough offense without AB. They may have had a good offense with him, but it looks like we’ll never know. It’s still going to take our defense going in and establishing the tone early. I’m not a believer in their defense but I’m not exactly a believer in our offense just yet either.

It would be so nice if the offense punched them in the mouth early though. If we’re as good running as I think we’ll be this is going to be an ugly physical offense. Sort of like Tebow’s offense but with a QB that can also throw.

I also hope we can see this offense account for 23+ PPG regularly. If they can do that, plus augment with a few defensive scores this will be a playoff team.

My guess is the offense will do fine running on Monday. But the raiders are probably going to load the box to stop it, so that should open some opportunities over the top. Will the offense be able to connect?

I kno - I was just thinking yesterday - if the Broncos can average 24 points a game - they will make the playoffs and win 12 or more games.

I agree. I think already we have a 10-6 or 11-5 team in the making here. If the offense looks the way I think it will it will be a punishing unit, an awful experience for opposing defenses. Ball control and keep the defense fresh and ready to pounce.

Also, assuming the ground game and defense can carry this team into the playoffs, teams that can do these things tend to succeed in the post season.

Not getting ahead of myself, just considering the possibilities.

Got to beat OAK without AB. I'd say a must win if you want to hit 10 wins.

Yep 24 is the magic number. Even Cutler was like 10-3 when the team scored 24. One way need a few more first downs a game and McManus to match his 2015 output.

All division games are must wins. Every year. They don’t always make or break a season but they’re games against rivals, ergo must win games!

But another aspect about this one is it is a winnable game. The team needs a fast start when they have a brutal stretch weeks 11-15. There are no sure things on this schedule, so going into a beatable opponent’s house and pissing in his sink is vital.

The Raiders can play AB or C and the Broncos are still going to stomp them.

This is Goodbye to the Black Hole - night (maybe).

If you got a puppy the last time the Raiders were relevant - that puppy has probably died of old age by now.
My dog was 4 in 1983. Been dead for 28 years now.

All I'm going to say is this......I have to DVR this freakin' game because it won't start until long after I'm sleeping. That being said.................Broncos O-Line must protect Flacco or theywill pay the piper. Flacco historically slows up measurable after being whacked around. Keep him upright and the Broncs walk away with hardly a sweat broken. Let him get beat up and this will be a horriffic long night and very wello could be an "L".

Just a history lesson from watching the Pats play Flacco and the Ravens year in and Year out.

Agreed. This is the case with almost every signal caller that ever played.

As I recall, pressure and hits have been the key to a few of Brady's losses at Mile High.

Really? You have to protect your QB to win in the NFL? ;)
