All kidding aside we are not ready for the game on the O side. But our D will not let much scoring go on.

Our running game and defense is what gives me hope for this one. I don’t even think Flacco breaks 200 passing, but Lindsay and Freeman may combine for 200+ rushing.

I think my score prediction was 20-17 or something like that. Broncos in a close one.

I think the Raiders oline and front 7 on defense are very bad. Chubb will clearly run by his guy and the center of the Raiders Oline is made of smoke and mirrors. The Raider LBs are even slower than the Broncos - I expect the Bronco RB will run through this crowd and the TEs will bust the LBs in coverage.

On top of that - they have the AB effect (Prima Donna) and Carr won't have time to throw it to AB downfield.

On the other side - I think Jacobs might do well against the Broncos - especially if he can catch a pass.

I don't think this hurts the Broncos chances unless it makes them come in over confident.

I don’t think the AB suspension is that big of a factor. The Raiders have more or less been without him all training camp either way. It certainly doesn’t hurt the Broncos chances but after that tilt with the Giants back in 2017 we shouldn’t ever count out any nfl roster.

AB is a bit of an X factor player and a guy the defense has to account for all over the field as he is a big play waiting to happen. The Raiders don't have a lot of proven play makers on the roster.

Thing is the old Raiders of a few years ago would have tolerated him. They’ve made significant progress by suspending him and will likely cut him.

The Raiders have a capable enough offense without AB. They may have had a good offense with him, but it looks like we’ll never know. It’s still going to take our defense going in and establishing the tone early. I’m not a believer in their defense but I’m not exactly a believer in our offense just yet either.

It would be so nice if the offense punched them in the mouth early though. If we’re as good running as I think we’ll be this is going to be an ugly physical offense. Sort of like Tebow’s offense but with a QB that can also throw.

I also hope we can see this offense account for 23+ PPG regularly. If they can do that, plus augment with a few defensive scores this will be a playoff team.

My guess is the offense will do fine running on Monday. But the raiders are probably going to load the box to stop it, so that should open some opportunities over the top. Will the offense be able to connect?
