I decided to do another lineup. This is our lineup if they make it a 55 man roster instead of 53. I didnt draft anyone on the O-line cuz I went after other needs. But once the NFL give us our 4th and 7th round comp. picks I will add a G in prolly the 4th with another WR or a LB.

3 QBs - Colin Kaepernick, Brian Hoyer (FA), Sean Mannion (6th)
4 RBs - Carlos Hyde, CJ Spiller (FA), Kendall Hunter, Trey Millard or Karlos Williams (7th)
1 FB - Bruce Miller
6 WRs - Anquan Boldin, Torrey Smith (FA), Breshad Perriman (3rd), Quinton Patton, Bruce Ellington, Jerome Simpson
4 TEs - Vernon Davis, Vance McDonald, Nick O'Leary (5th), Derrick Carrier or Garrett Celek
8 O-Line - Joe Staley, Anthony Davis, Alex Boone, Daniel Kilgore, Marcus Martin, Joe Looney, Brandon Thomas, Fou Fonoti

7 D-Line - Tank Carradine, Glenn Dorsey, Darnell Dockett (FA), Ian Williams, Tony Jerod-Eddie (FA), Quinton Dial, Owamagbe Odighizuwa (2nd)
9 LBs - Patrick Willis, Navorro Bowman, Aldon Smith, Aaron Lynch, Chris Borland, Michael Wilhoite (FA), Dan Skuta (FA), Corey Lemonier, Nick Moody
6 CBs - Tramaine Brock, Perrish Cox (FA), Trae Waynes (1st), Dontae Johnson, Kieth Reaser, Kenneth Acker
4 S - Eric Reid, Antoine Bethea, Jimmie Ward, LJ McCray

I like that Roster Big time. Ward would be CB/S. I think we would be fine with those guys. I like the draft picks. I have no complaints with this roster.

Looks like its almost set with Smith. Become a big fan of this move. Before I get too excited I have to see the price tag. Please don't be 9+ mill a year.

What's the deal with Iupati? No word on him right now sounds like good news to me. I hope we try to re-sign him depending on the salary he will command.

49ers are about to be Big time players in the FA market. might have around 30 mill to spend after they cut Stevie and Brooks.

I cut Brooks, Willis, Smith, Dahl, Martin, Holiday, etc. and that gave us 38 million in cap. That doesn't count us bringing in Dockett at 4 million next year. So that give us 34 million and if Torrey still signs with us tomorrow that will bring us under 30 million. I hope with everything going on today that Torrey doesn't change his mind. We would still have enough money to sign Iupati, Cox, Culliver and go after other FAs. Or we could let Iuptai and Culliver go while bringing back Cox and making a play on Revis.

Yeah I think overall we will be ok. We need a Healthy Bowman. Im still shocked about Willis. What is he doing.

Who do we draft in the 1st rd now. Also We sign Carrier TE to a 2 year deal at 3 mill. I think Cance might be done then. No way you pay your #3 TE 1.5 mill.

I would still seek value, ie after the first wave of signings.

When free agency opens up on Tuesday after 4:00 pm ET, the #Jaguars are expected to sign LB Dan Skuta, per league source.

I really wanted Skuta back but I hope use not getting him back doesnt mean we hold onto Brooks. Ahmad should still be cut even though we lost Skuta to FA and Willis to retirement. I guess its a good thing we didnt trade Wilhoite cuz we need him now as a backup. Think we should pickup a LB in FA and also take one in the middle of the draft.

Turmoil for the 49ers, but it's not time to panic yet | The MMQB with Peter King

I'm with this guy, not totally fine with all these FA's leaving, but not panicking. It'll still start with Kaep's performance.

Changes happen fast in the NFL, older players eventually leave.

Good piece. Most of us don't believe the 49ers are serious contenders this year, so for the most part it doesn't matter much with the older players. They are gonna be gone if not this year, then probably next year. The future ultimately is going to come down to how all of these draft picks from the past couple of years pan out. We haven't seen enough of most of them to know either way.

We are in on Bush. We are in his Finally 3. I wouldn't mind this pick up. Add more speed to this offense.

Bush visiting today. lets hope we lock him up. I don't mind Hyde, Bush and Hunter combo. If not Bush give me Spiller. This team has a lot of money to play with. Also wouldn't mind signing Browner. We need a CB.

49ers are 20 million under the cap even when you count Dockett, Torrey, Celek and Gabbert towards the roster. Now lets trade/cut Brooks, Dahl, Martin to free up some more cap and make some moves for a RB, CB and DE.

You can cross the San Francisco 49ers off the list of teams that could potentially sign Hardy. Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com relayed comments from GM Trent Baalke that the team does not have interest in signing the free agent.
