That set the table for Maclin.

Let's cut Stevie and offer Maclin a 5 year 50 million dollar deal. I think Eagles are gonna let Maclin walk. I mean look at what Chip has done since he joined the Eagles he lets all the big names go.

I would love to do this. Im a Maclin fan. Then we can draft a CB with the 1st pick.

Yeah and we could hope Waynes fell to us and if he doesn't we can draft Collins. If DGB falls to the early 2nd I think we should trade up to stop teams like the Rams or Vikes from grabbing him before us. Think if our core of WRs were Maclin, Boldin, DGB, Ellington, Patton and Simpson.

Im starting to like this kid Kevin Johnson (from WF). He had a better combine then Waynes and they say his film looks better.

Looks like Gore is going to the Eagles. 49ers just asked about AP. I thought we are suppose to stay away from troubled players. I don't get it.

Kevin Johnson is good but no one had a better combine than Waynes. Waynes separated himself from the other CBs like White did at WR. I would say KJ is 4th on my list behind Waynes, Collins and Peters. I know Peters comes with baggage but he is a great player. I also wouldn't be surprised if we draft Ifo Ekpre-Olomu from Oregon. He would of been a 1st round pick and maybe the #1 CB. They are saying he won't be ready to start practicing until September. This is screaming a pick by the 49ers. We love drafting injured players and stuffing them on IR/PUP. If he falls to the 3rd or 4th round I think we have to draft him. Other CBs we can get in the middle of the draft that I like are Doran Grant OSU, Charles Gaines Ville and Kevin White TCU.

Colts would be a great place for Gore. Problem is the Colts right now don't have anyone else at RB. Ahmad Bradshaw is a good RB when healthy. While Gore can help the Colts, they would have to limit his snaps or he is going to flame out by playoff time

Source indicates the #49ers are bracing to lose Frank Gore. Has an offer on the table from the #Eagles averaging $5M+, $7M in guarantees.

like all past 49er greats, hard to let go but no time for sentiment. Baalke tried to re-sign Gore, and that's all we can ask. IMO the guarantee is too high and we shouldn't low ball him.

Don't force it on Gore, but look ahead to the next 3 years.

I was thinking when Gore asked for 4 million a year that was too much. I was thinking more in the 2-3 million area. A 2 year deal worth 5 million was what I was looking at. Its gonna be sad to see him leave cuz he is my favorite player on the team. In my eyes no one deserved a SB more on the 49ers.

Looking a bit like Gore might be an Eagle when FA hits.
Eagles or Indy. To be honest they can have him at those contracts that Im hearing. Im hearing 3 years between 15-20 mill. I would go after Spiller and have a combo of Spiller and Hyde.

I agree he deserves one. At least he made it once. He won't win one with the Eagles or Indy.

I decided to do another lineup. This is our lineup if they make it a 55 man roster instead of 53. I didnt draft anyone on the O-line cuz I went after other needs. But once the NFL give us our 4th and 7th round comp. picks I will add a G in prolly the 4th with another WR or a LB.

3 QBs - Colin Kaepernick, Brian Hoyer (FA), Sean Mannion (6th)
4 RBs - Carlos Hyde, CJ Spiller (FA), Kendall Hunter, Trey Millard or Karlos Williams (7th)
1 FB - Bruce Miller
6 WRs - Anquan Boldin, Torrey Smith (FA), Breshad Perriman (3rd), Quinton Patton, Bruce Ellington, Jerome Simpson
4 TEs - Vernon Davis, Vance McDonald, Nick O'Leary (5th), Derrick Carrier or Garrett Celek
8 O-Line - Joe Staley, Anthony Davis, Alex Boone, Daniel Kilgore, Marcus Martin, Joe Looney, Brandon Thomas, Fou Fonoti

7 D-Line - Tank Carradine, Glenn Dorsey, Darnell Dockett (FA), Ian Williams, Tony Jerod-Eddie (FA), Quinton Dial, Owamagbe Odighizuwa (2nd)
9 LBs - Patrick Willis, Navorro Bowman, Aldon Smith, Aaron Lynch, Chris Borland, Michael Wilhoite (FA), Dan Skuta (FA), Corey Lemonier, Nick Moody
6 CBs - Tramaine Brock, Perrish Cox (FA), Trae Waynes (1st), Dontae Johnson, Kieth Reaser, Kenneth Acker
4 S - Eric Reid, Antoine Bethea, Jimmie Ward, LJ McCray

2 SPs - Phil Dawson, Andy Lee
1 LS - Kyle Nelson
