I was happy with the Johnson pick. I wasn't happy with his lack of development and the fact that he seems unable to shoot in the pros like he was in college. At least he plays some solid defense.

He can be a free agent this summer. If they aren't willing to pay him, someone else will.

My guess is Maker plays behind Blake for now. He'll get broken in half if he plays center lol.

I expect to see one more trade involving Philly. It could be something big, like dealing Butler, but it will more likely be a move to strengthen the bench with another player. They just did this also.

Teams usually don’t get anything worthwhile when trading a superstar. Pelicans should just ride out his contract unless they get something big. Draft picks from teams that are likely going to go deep into the playoffs are useless and solid players in return just put you in nba hell. Good enough to be average and not bad enough to get a high draft pick.
