Not a top prospect but a great package. This ain’t itFedde is pitching way above his level...in a situation that is as close to "no pressure" that there can be for an MLB player. His value is determined by the culmination of his history with a slight adjustment upward for recent events. No way he was going to bring back a top prospect.
I pretty much agree that we wouldn't nor shouldn't receive a great package for Fedde, but being that he still has another year left on his contract, I was hoping we'd get a bit more than we did.Not a top prospect but a great package. This ain’t it
without getting into it .. i totally diagree. for a guy who could significantly help a contender this year and next we was robbed. fedde is NOT above his current level. he made serious changes and he's not the guy he was with washington and it's obvious!Fedde is pitching way above his level...in a situation that is as close to "no pressure" that there can be for an MLB player. Did you see what Toronto got for a pitcher that’s career era is over 5 and this yr is 4.50I'll take that bet.
Eric Fedde's career ERA from this point forward will be north of 4.5...
...I'll also double down and say at least one of the prospects we got in this deal will turn out better than Moncada and/or Kopech...and we traded one of the best pitchers in franchise history for those bums.

And the odds of Moncada being on the team next year are slim to none, and last I heard slim left the building with Elvis. So you'll have another "good riddance" to add when he's gone.Good riddance to Eloy…Dude will probably get hurt on the plane to Baltimore.

Moncada was great in 2019, started the COVID 2020 season red hot until he got a real bad case himself, said he couldn't breathe right the rest of the season after returning, and was never the same. And the odds of Moncada being on the team next year are slim to none, and last I heard slim left the building with Elvis. I feel like that's lost in the midst of his demise. I wonder what he would have to say if you asked him exactly how much that affected his career. I mean, I've hated watching him like anyone else the last few years. However, people forget that he was mostly living up to the hype for a period.
i will be holding a parade in my driveway. (unless, of course, if i go first)Pain.
Just give me one f*cking Bears title before I die is my only request as a Chicago fan at this point. I'm just in it for the Churros, the crack of the bat, and seeing what iddy posts when Reinsdorf dies (Does he go full on optimist?!?) when it comes to the White Sox. Anything more than that out of them is gravy.
