has announced his retirement from football. He was drafted by the Colts in 2007. They traded up with the 49ers to select him. He signed with the Chiefs last week after being with the Giants last year.

I thought I read something yesterday on NFL.com about him failing his physical, a quick google search came up empty though.

So, it's not like he just signed and retired... he tried but his body didn't pass

I don't think it was that people wanted him, it was more that he was taken with the pick we traded to Indy.

I thought it had to do with the Indy trade and the NE trade. It was a game of Staley and Kentstopfromsuckin' Balmer or Ugoh and "fill in the blank"...no?
