IMO elite season for curry were 13-14 season, 14-15 season and this year. So 2 and a half seasons

When exactly was his early decline? In his 17th season he averaged 27.3 PPG, 6.0 APG, and 5.6 RPG.

well - compared to all time great contemporaries like Jordan and Duncan he kinda did---- and i guess i should not say "early" as much as "precipitous". I certainly did not expect Kobe to go from what he did the year you are talking about- to never again having a significant moment.

Jordan retired in 1998 at 35. In Kobe's last healthy season, he was 34 and playing at an elite level. Then, the next 3 years, he was injured. That's not an early decline, that's injuries. His decline, is this year when it's obvious that he just doesn't physically have it anymore.
