Not that long ago, 13 years...the game has changed so much, Heat won this playoff game going 7 for 16 from 3. Only 16 threes attempted.

LeBron nothing to be said, this game is on his GOAT resume...among other things 45/15/5 only Wilt and him ever did that in a playoff game...scored 45 when the team only had 98 lol

Has the game lost something going to so much 3 point shooting? Maybe the happy medium is a little less?

Like imagine THIS LeBron playing with this team vs the 1992 Bulls...talk about a dream matchup

Who wins that series? (note I said 1992, 1996 Bulls have a clear advantage)

They’d be low scoring affairs. 92 was prolly peak defense from Jordan and Pippen.

Hard for me to go against prime Jordan here. Even without any real three point threats on that Bulls roster. (No offense to BJ, Paxson and Hodges)

Only one taker, I guess LeBron is only worth discussing when we compare him to MJ lol

Bosh was very athletic for his size. But doesn’t deserve to be mentioned with Jordan and Pippen on D.

We’re talking about as good as it gets from two non bigs from those two in 92.

The style of play, in my opinion, lended to more consistency on the offensive side of the board than you have in today's game.

You didn't have a one-seed losing a playoff game to a 6 seed by 40! even just ten years ago.

I will temper my opinion with the note that I did watch very little of this year's product,

But what I did see was the first quarter of that in-season tournament thing. It was Oklahoma against Houston. I think that's right. It was in December so I'm trying to go back on memory.

I saw a guy miss a shot. Other team rebounds. Guy who got the rebound takes the ball himself. No offensive strategy or play set up at all. He's the only guy that touched the ball. Miss. Other team rebounds. Same thing happened. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Same exact result about 5 straight possessions until a timeout was called. May have been the end of the quarter.

All I know is I stopped watching. It was really bad fundamental basketball.

I have no doubt you put that shit up against what Miami was doing those for years or the Spurs those two years they played Miami in the Finals....

The ball movement and offensive sets would have today's players with their tongues dragging the court by halftime trying to play defense against actual offensive strategy.
