I don't know what any Miami fan has to complain about

1. He actually made his move pretty early in the free agency process. It's a huge decision and he didn't drag it out. The Heat have plenty of time to maneuver for next season.
2. You got him when he did the exact same thing to Cleveland
3. He gave you a finals appearance every year he was here and 2 of them ended with the title.

3 players got together because they wanted to build a "super team". Where it happened was pretty arbitrary and it would have been Cleveland to begin with if the other 2 would have went for it. But they didn't want to go there. The guy obviously loves the area and wants to play there. It kind of makes sense to take a job at the place where you want to live.

None of this has anything to do with the thread title.
I agree with what you wrote though.

No I didn't.
I never said James had a reason to announce it any sooner.

I've said it was made sooner.

No way that decision and letter were made and written on Thursday as spun to us.

Also, Kyrie's max kicks in next year. He's playing for next to nothing this season.
This was the summer to be able to build.
James had to go back now if he was going.

I think Kinzu was saying the same as you that his decision was made prior to yesterday.

This is such a joke of a sports channel. They can't even cover baseball without talking about Lebron .

ESPN has always been like this

Remember the days of Tom Brady and the Pats?

How about the Brett Favre retirement or not saga?

or the days of the Lakers and Kobe-Shaq?

I know as a Mariners fan when we were actually relevant all that was talked about was the Yankees

If the Heat get Deng and Chicago gets Pau, the East will be very interesting.

Even with Lebron, I don't see the Cavs beating Indy and if, BIG IF, Rose is healthy.....

Are the Cavs better than the Bulls?

Depending on what happens with Washington/ Ariza, I think Indy with Stephenson is the top seed with Chicago, Cavs, Washington, Hornets fighting for seeds 2-5.

The East might actually be worth watching next Season.

What will the Lakers money look like next year after paying Swaggy and Hill?

They got multi-year deals, no?

Hill got 2 years $18 million with a team option for the 2nd year. So he essentially got a 1 year $9 million deal.

Swaggy got 4 years at just over $5 million per year. That is easily absorbed in the cap or can be easily traded away if necessary.

Neither move effects the future cap much, if at all.

That's a win for them.

There will be a ton of guys on the Market next Summer.

I agree. They didn't "bag the elephant" this year, so they move on and set themselves up to bag one next year. That's the reality of the current CBA.

Yup.

For the Lakers sake, I hope the Buss kids allow Mitch to do his job.

It would be totally awesome if they could land a Dragic and Jefferson type guard and Center.

I am a huge Brook Lopez fan.

But, I wouldn't touch him with that bad foot.
