The Chiefs somehow managed to parlay Sammy Watkins only playing well 6 games a season and Frank Clark only playing well for 6 games a season into 1 championship so I guess thats not all bad for the Chiefs. But yes, the Seahawks knew that KC would gladly overpay Clark.

The worst? Hmm....

Trading up to take Pickett. Thats the worst thing Seattle could do.

Jesus Christ Clayton, STOP!

Atlanta is probably going to do something normal.

Seattle at #9 is where it gets real interesting. The last several years the drafts by Seattle have been beyond baffling.

"With the #9 overall pick in the NFL draft... Seattle selects, Tight End, Trey McBride, Colorado State."

..........

Honestly at this point I'm trying to reverse jinx my team. I mean Taylor, Metcalf, Griffin (not the one handed guy)... I mean there's been a little there... but oof.
Hearing rumors they may trade that pick?

Would not be a bad idea, unless they are in love with whoever is there at 9. Lots of depth in this draft.

Not that I would expect it but what if Travon Walker, Charles Cross or Ikem Ekwonutype fall to 9? Tough to pass up. Would they use it on a QB? Stranger things have happened on day 1.

Makes 100% sense and completely agree. Logical as always, @NWPATSFAN

That said, I will blame you for everything that goes wrong tomorrow.

Yeah, I saw that one. I think they also mentioned Kenny Pickett as Jon Kitna. A lot of throwback comps. Calvin Austin to Tyler Gabriel

I couple notes.

I would be kinda shocked:

If the Lions took QB
Gardner dropping to #12 behind Stingley
Thibodeaux to #18. Not crazy but I just don't see it
Pickens at 13? Yeah we see WR's get overdrafted and this would be the year but hard to imagine Pickens going this early

It seems like he has a lot of hot takes here

There are a few hot takes. Mentioned that the Lions have been closer to Willis than any other team scouting the heck out of him. Goff is a perfect bridge QB situation.

Sauce, Stingley, and McDuffie all drop too far.

A lot of people aren't high on Thibodeaux. Kollman also thinks Kyle Hamilton is a rd2 prospect. To me, that suggests these guys are polarizing but there are going to be other people super high on them. Eagles do have ammo to go up and get Thibodeaux. Wouldn't rule that out.

Pickens is rumored to be falling. Could be smoke, though

I dont understand why people do mocks based on what they know are their own controversial opinions. That is what prospect rankings are for.....not mocks. No Hamilton in the 1st?!? C'mon.

I didn't even mention them trading for Jimmy Garappolo.

Honestly, that would be better than using a 1st rounder on a QB this year. Jimmy or Baker, as long as you are sending as little in trade as possible (no 1sts, preferrably as late of picks as possible).

No chance he gets out of that 11-16 range imo.

The writers need to indicate whether they are predicting the teams' picks or what the teams SHOULD do as well. Two different schools of thought. QB at 2 for the Lions shouldn't be either though IMO.

I doubt the Bills take Pitre over McDuffie in regards to that mock. I disagree with so many of his projections lol. His comps too: Wilson as Keenan Allen? Allen wishes he was in the same zip code with Wilson's speed.
