Snide comments based upon a discussion (from when, July? And in a different forum?) have no place in our little paradise, good sir. I love a lot of players. Good ones, bad ones, terrible ones (Kip Miller). I just don't see what good you thought could come from making that passive-aggressive comment.

I was hammered when I made both those comments. I thought this place could use some more hockey debates (there's been some lately, which is great), and I know you like rolling up your sleeves and diving into those, too. Even if I lose, it's fun to argue and I always learn a thing or two. I was drunk, came home and hopped on here, saw a Pronger thread and your name and thought I could start some shit that might get interesting. Unlike most drunk ideas, it wasn't well formed. I wasn't trying to fuck with you, really - I just like reading your posts when you get opinionated. A lot of them are really fucking good.

I think at the time my mind went something like, "Pronger...quoi...last year's playoffs." It doesn't even make sense to me.

Also, Yzerman > Messier.

Eh, not a horrible call. I'll have to watch the video again, but from first glance it SEEMED that Pronger was intentionally waving his hand infront of Kipper (based on his glance back at Kipper's face), and it was certainly a reason as to why the goal was scored (he had about 2 seconds, maybe less to rebound from that), so I can see why it'd be called. However, I agree with most in here that it was only called because it lead to a goal (though you CAN here the ref yelling at someone), not just because it was illegal. But, in the long run, that's only one point lost against a team from a different conference.
