I'd really like to see Weal and Gagner on the squad. I'd like to see them play for VDV and Umberger. A Gagner, Weal, Read line could provide some pop from the 3rd line. From what I've read, Gagner is playing very well for the Phantoms.

If anything, they need to play at least Sam Gagner so that they can up his trade value - even if he's playing well in the minors, it won't matter much as far as trade value unless he comes up and does what he's doing in the minors

Now if only we could keep the puck out of our net while killing a penalty. That ultra passive box is really starting to get on my fucking nerves. This is especially the case when I see other teams routinely go out and pressure our top unit extremely aggressively...and it works!!

During the period intermission last night, the anchors were showing Hextall-going-off vids especially playing the Leafs. Its was classic and hilarious. I wish this team had that hudtzpuh and moxie that Hextall often demonstrated. Badass goalie!

Zero goals in close to 50 games. He's basically played his way off of the roster. In one week, it will be one year to the day since he last scored. Even Colin McDonald had a goal in the 5 games he played. Luke Schenn had 2 in 29 games. Laughton, VandeVelde, Bellemare and White have 13 goals between them this season.

It's a shame that we have one more year of him, but he appears to be about done. It's difficult to believe that he once scored 20 goals for us and then did it four times with Columbus.

Last night I think it was Schenn who threw a pass cross ice and all he had to do was catch the pass and slide it into an open net and he couldn't even do that. I wouldn't mind him not scoring if he contributed in other areas but he doesn't hit doesn't pass well doesn't have speed and im not sure he is a leader in the locker room so why not sit him down and lets get a look at Weal.
