The 3 on 3 is great as we have clearly seen, but I don't necessarily like the idea of Giroux skating up and down the ice with Zuccarello and Letang against another divisional trio. We mostly hate the other teams/players in our division, so you might as well keep the fantasy draft portion.

I cant see the goalies liking this idea at all.

I really don't expect this to continue for much longer. Not with Ghost on the point of the power play, Giroux leading the team in scoring and guys like Voracek, Schenn, Raffl and Read way overdue for a pile of goals.

I think it's coming along, the results just aren't there yet. Tough to score when you play one good period against a hot goalie and then completely give up.

When the other team scores the first goal we pretty much give up and it happens almost all the time now is this a lack of leadership?

What discourages me is I don't see a lot of prime scoring opportunities that the Flyers are just missing. I see a lot of shooting at defenders shin pads or right at the goalie.

I think it's just a lack of confidence that has grown exponentially now that we've been shut out in two straight and three of the last six games. Everyone is gripping their stick tightly and when they get an opportunity that they'd normally score on, the shot is off just enough to either get blocked, go wide or allow the goalie to make a save.

There's clearly not enough driving the net and getting to the dirty scoring areas either. I'm sure we also miss a guy like Hartnell that makes a living doing that night to night.

Hartnell could also snipe a top corner and we have nobody else who can do that.

Manning and Simmonds too. At least Simmonds appeared to win his fight easily. You definitely like to see guys get angry and voice their frustrations because that is sure as hell the way we feel while watching.

Giroux can do that obviously. I saw Simmonds do it once this season. You would've thought maybe Read, Schenn or Voracek, but it's just not there right now.
