I'm staying in La Grange TX. I'm going to go crazy if I can't stop singing this got damn song.
Good luck with the ship load of money and the holes in your underpants.Broke down and entered into DraftKings for the first time. You know. Before it's illegal everywhere.

(That knock Yer aboot to hear is the Feds.)
Can't sleep. The events of the day I guess. Damn over-active mind. Have you ever stared at the computer screen without seeing it? Deep in thought? Then when you come out of it, and see the screen again, you look down at the clock and realize it's an hour and a half later? It's fucked up I tell you.
For the first time since I found out Suh had signed with the Dolphins, I have a positive outlook for the Lions. Thank God for Martha Firestone. She's done more for this organization in a short time than the Ford men did in fifty some odd years. Not only did she cut out the cancer, but is seeking help in the search for a new GM. The Fords would have just promoted somebody they liked, regardless of whether they had the talent for the job at hand. I know a good GM is hard to find, even with the credentials. But at least there is hope.
I hope Jim Bob can improve the efficiency of the offense. Maybe win a few games. I'm not for tanking the season. If the Lions get a good GM, it won't matter if he's picking 1st or 12th. I would be pumped if the Lions could give the Packers a three game losing streak.
I see people comparing Ben Roethlisberger with Eli Manning on the main board. Those two QBs aren't anything alike. Ben is the same QB as Russell Wilson. They both extend plays. Ben with good footwork and brute strength. Wilson with speed and agility. But they're both always looking to throw the ball first.
At least the Lions won't have to do a total rebuild like they did after the 0-16. There is some talent on this team. Mostly on the offense. I like Ansah, Slay, and Quinn on the defense. I'm liking what I'm seeing out of Bynes so far, but that's about it. I have little hope for Levy. His game depended on his speed.
On the offense I'm okay with Stafford for now. He's never going to have touch on his passes, but he possesses enough skill to win with. Two pretty good WRs. I think the OL is only one OT away from being a good unit. When Reiff is your most experienced O-lineman, that's a pretty young unit. Warford two years. Swanson and Tomlinson are first year starters. With Lombardi's ignorant ass gone, maybe a little improvement is possible?
I see a lot of teams struggling with their kickers. Looks like the Lions got there early. One of the few strokes of luck to come the Lions way. At least the Lions special teams have been pretty good.
A minus nine TO ratio isn't going to get it. Why do they call it a ratio, when it's just a difference?
The Detroit Lions official site is shit on the statistical page. I see somebody else that needs to be fired.
With the way offensive lineman are piss poor prepared to play in the NFL coming out of college these days, are teams going to have to let them hold a clipboard for a couple of years before they take the fucking field?
I'd watch TV except for the fact that anything worth watching I've already seen a million times. I'm cancelling my DirecTV Tuesday. 300 channels my ass. 280 of them are either shopping channels, infomercial channels, or brain dead TV (reality show) channels. I thought it was pretty bad that the channel I watched most was WE TV. House, CSI Miami, Law and Order. Now they're hitting it with David Tutera's queer ass shit. Fuck me.
Aw hell. I guess I'll read a book. If you got this far, you've already read one.
You could get that novel of yours published. My shipload of money comes in today. I wonder what I'm going to do with that $5.40
Did Miami beat them in the preseason?I've been using my 3rd favorite team logo as the last team to beat the Packers. I didn't realize I was going to be changing it every week.
Did Miami beat them in the preseason?
It's hard to believe they've fallen so far so quickly.I had this epiphany after the Broncos thrashed them. For some devilish reason, I enjoyed that game.
