I think it’s finally happening. Similar to the stock market, this board is showing Lions support is at an all time low. There was more activity during the 0-16 season and the following years. Could it be that the bottom has finally been reached for this franchise? I used to think there was no way to go but up, yet now I’m wondering if all that hope had been premature?

Or is it just that so many people are waiting for Hard Knocks to come out? Might even get a trial subscription to HBO for a month.

Lions are getting the most over bets in all of Vegas. Opinion among general fans has never really been higher than it is right now for the Lions.

I just got my first Dr. Pepper Slurpee since 7-11 bought out Speedway.

And there’s a chance I enjoy the Lions offense almost as much.

The defense is still going to be bad. There’s no way it won’t be. But I think we’re going to see a much improved team overall.

Nobody that still at this site hates each other personally any more. I think that is the biggest factor in the lack of traffic here on the board.

Local casino here opened a sports book. Lions were at 7 wins for the season so I took the over. May be a little too optimistic - I don’t follow the betting action, so I’m not sure how the over has moved in the past month. Just seems that the team has improved both lines.

They opened the year at the 2nd lowest win total, so apparently, enough money came in to raise it.

Part of it is regular improvement, the other part is they might end up with the easiest schedule of the year

@Edonidd I wish you and your family the best and hope all of you come away unscathed with this storm. That damn Hurricane blew up this morning - 120 m.p.h. to 155 m.p.h. - in just 3 hours. I'm relatively certain you had stated in this past that you lived near Tampa Bay.

My parents are Snow birds. They head down about 10 days. They're down kind of between Naples and Fort Myers, i think theyre just south of the major areas being hit. I live in Grand Rapids area, I think I'm pretty safe up here.

Hello - looking for some recommendations. I’ll be going to the Lions/Bills on Thanksgiving. Any recommendations on where to park for the game? Also, any recommendations of places to visit in Windsor? I haven’t been to that side of the river in thirty years - looking for tourist attractions for a day trip.

Tailgating is allowed again at Eastern Market this year. Real enjoyable atmosphere with thousands of other fans. Not a bad walk to FF.

Greektown casino has a good parking structure, easy walk and you’re in Greektown after the game with lots of options for food/drink.

A few structures a couple blocks up Woodward around LCA too. And dozens of small open lots in between.

We always park at the casino and then sp3nd an hour at the tables after so they'll validate our parking. Win/win really. But I've never went on Thanksgiving.

Parked at the Hollywood Casino in Greektown. Easy walk to Ford Field and the traffic was reasonable to get out after the game. I don’t know if I’ll do another Thanksgiving game, but looking forward to another game next year.
