I will say, seeing how long it takes Zach to process the defense really highlights how good Bo is at pre-snap reads. He's been excellent at finding the open man right away and getting the ball out quick.

Preseason doesn’t mean much when it comes to regular season success but this year has proved Denver has good depth which is one thing they’ve lacked in recent years. It’s not too long ago that we were getting blown out in preseason because our 2nd and 3rd stringers were just awful and couldn’t keep up.

Only preseason but when was the last time the Broncos averaged 33 points on offense over a three game stretch? Like.....forever ago. I think Payton and Paton have built a solid roster with a lot of depth. The downside is the team is very young. Will take a few years to get to the promised land but I can't remember feeling this optimistic during the preseason.

Dondrea Tillman is a keeper IMO on the roster ..Man I hope we keep him at least on PS

He was talking a lot of crap . I do agree he did nothing to keep him around . Nix would have put the football were he could catch it . I say mouth and no production is why he is gone . Nix game is the same as Judy timing and small widows . I do get you are right but that BS coming out of his mouth did not help him either . more Thomas types for me .easier to like and root for.

His “crap” talk was on twitter provoked by past players. Had no issues with him internally with the team. Sean Payton always spoke very highly of Jeudy like a professional should. He always backed him.

It was his contract and like Mingo said not a great fit for Payton’s offense.

Really hard to find a single player that played bad yesterday. Everything about yesterday was pretty much good.

Bad News- Mathis ankle injury
Good News- MRI negative.

Also, remember unlike previous years we can now place two players on IR before cutdown day and recall them off waivers. Last few years we had to cut down to 53 then place players on IR then re-sign players.

I think Sean Payton does as well as anyone with the new PS rules. Notice he has players like David Sills and Lil J on the roster who he knows he can put on the PS and move them up and down when needed. They don't have to go through waivers and unlikely they are going to move PS situations knowing what Payton is doing for/with them. The new PS rules are nice for vets. Allows you to have spots for young players growing and spots to extend vet players career. A lot of vets were pushed out of the NFL because of the old PS rules and this allows many players careers to be extended now with the new rules.
