I don't think the solution is to remove Gobert, but he has to cover shooters, not the paint.

I would like to do the last thing because the idea is that jump shots are the worst shot to take because even if you make them, you only get two points so the benefit of taking them is lost. Whereas a three pointer whether they’re contested or not, get you more points as long as you shoot relatively well enough.

Agree with 1/2 of that video. However, Mitchell isn't blame free on defense, and he also has to step up more vocally on defense, to help the team.

Since his personality is more vocal, that's something he can do.

If he had a quieter personality, then I'd expect less, but that's not the case.

Great, now we have to sweep Phoenix or beat Milwaukee in Milwaukee with Giannis to make up for losing to Washington. Beating Memphis with Morant might make up for Washington, but then we’d need to beat the Bucks to make up for the Houston game.

They really are the worst team in sports, for losing by 9 to Washington.

Losing to the Rockets, Wizards, Pistons, Bulls, and Spurs, I’m not sure that paying attention to the Jazz is worth my time this year. This is pretty much the norm for the past few years, as I haven’t had much time to listen to the Jazz, even when we were winning with Mitchell and Gobert, where I would follow the box scores. But this year every once a while, I would look at the game as it went live on ESPN gamecast. I’m not saying that they can’t win, but I think I’m going to check out besides box scores.

Losers heading into 2023. Would not have been if they had beaten the Pistons, Spurs, and Houston. But they lost to those three because they are losers.
