The Utes are the worst team in sports. Giving up 48 points.

They turned a win into a loss.

Waiting for @MHSL82 to post the highest and lowest Jazz win probabilities against Toronto.

Record of teams who beat the Jazz - not counting those teams’ wins over Utah. (245-270 if you count them. 0.476 winning percentage.)

If the Jazz lose tomorrow to the Cavs, it’s clear who the MVP is. Many already believe, but this makes it stronger.

No, it won't be any clearer, for the Jazz MVP.

The Jazz did not have Mitchell or Rudy Gay, but neither did Houston.

And those guys are smiling in that picture! Don't they feel some anger and shame at their performance?

Didn't the Jazz have problems beating Minnesota a few years ago too?

This thread was warranted before this game because we were basically equivalent to a 10–7 team. Yesterday, we didn’t have Mitchell or Snyder and Ingles went out with what may be a significant injury. And while Minnesota is not very good, they’re better than they were before and yes, they’ve given us troubles last year. I don’t think we beat them at all last year. So this is a day short, should have been said before we lost last night.

This brings up an interesting discussion about what type of losses deserve this thread bump.

Should it be against teams that the Jazz struggle against a lot, like Minnesota?

Or should it be a random game that wasn't expected to be trouble, but ends up in a loss?

Is it a case by case basis?

Case by case.

1. Losing badly to a bad team.
2. Losing repeatedly the same way (all close games, losing at home too often, dying by the three, etc.).
3. Losing by a lot to a good or great team because we didn’t step up.
4. Keeping in losing in first or second round.
5. Having a talent we refuse to use.
6. Tanking for a draft pick.
7. A really bad PR move for the team or state.
8. Barely winning against bad teams coupled with never beating good teams. Losing to bad teams, sometimes, fine. Every team is talented. But trends push things here.

I will say that there is a lot more that has to happen for the other positive thread. It is much easier to make it onto this thread.

I see what everyone has input for worst team and I raise you all the Seattle Mariners. When we look at our best moments in our franchise its Felix Hernandez pitching that one perfect game, Randy Johnson hitting a pigeon with a fast ball and Ken Griffey highlights from the 90s.

Mariners are a good candidate.

And I think your avatar would have been funnier, if the top caption said "it's too small", or "is it in?", or "I don't feel anything".

Harden had his lowest career scoring game when playing 30 minutes.

Harden had his lowest career scoring game when playing 30 minutes.

I remember when Malone scored eight points in a playoff game and one of the radio stations went to a commercial break after the loss playing the “All Star“ song by Smash Mouth. “Hey now, you're an all-star, get your game on, go play. Hey now, you're a rock star, get the show on, get paid.”

I was old enough to remember but young enough to dislike that song for that reason for a while.

That's a good reason to dislike it. How did Stockton do?
